Holly's version of what happened in the cave, the day Gonn died.

After everyone died, the corpses were all moved to the man in the mask. He raised Holly and asked a question: you or them (something like that). She tried to bargain with the man. "Why not everyone?" He wouldn't budge. "What about me and one other (motioning to Peter)?" No dice.

It was a hard choice for Holly, but she chose to save herself, thinking maybe she could sneak back and take a corpse. But once she was raised, the corpses disappeared. She wandered to Beregost feeling alone and lost. The rain that day only compounded her depression and she wept openly in the streets.

//

That was probably about the most RP heavy session so far. I think it'll be one we'll look back on more than the dungeon crawls.

Peter hadn't picked all his languages so I took elvish, he had the human dialect for the region he's from and for the region Baldur's Gate is in already. I'll play it as not actually speaking elvish still for awhile, but it sure seems like he should be learning it in character right now.

Holly is similarly inspired to learn elvish.

If you weren't with the group participating in the main plot line it got a little boring. And as a newcomer I think he probably got the worst of that. There was a lot of plot coming to a head that was months in the making.

Please do stick with it.

// I wasn't bored in the slightest! IT was nice to see story elements creeping in rather then a couple posts and killing stuff~ ! Sure I didn't have a major part to play, but I was involved. More so when holly had to go to collect peter and joules..leaving Galun and Api alone..that was stressful xD asking all them questions and such. Next thing I know it was 1am ! That was the only reason I had to leave, but I was enjoying it ^^ Hope to see more next time~

///my own lack of sleep and food and caffeine had me on edge but I was fine with it. Snacks held me over.

What Kaevil says is true. Lots of stuff had to boil over RP wise even if as the player I would avoid drama myself and try to include everyone at all times. Luckily Joules is a focused wizard with a handful of his own secrets he rather not spill so he doesn't offer much in the way of emotion usually and he's not too wise either :P .

/// Holly has been offered over 100k for that rapier +3 1d4 acid. Is that actually a reasonable value for the item based on the setting, or is it because gold has no real value on this server? If it's really worth that much I think she'd be happier selling it and buying that +3 rapier of shielding sold in Roaring Shore.

//From our stand point it's mostly valued from the +1d4 and not the +3. We have greater magic weapon for enhancement. Generally those +1d4 on a high crit weapon like a rapier are highly sought after. Put it up for forum auction if you want to see if there are any other bidders?
