Why not use the music from Baldurs gate Dark alliance 1+2 that music is must must better then the the first one of the PC BG games well and the 2 to. I will say to annoying in the sound : It is the same composer Jeremy Soule that was compose from Icewind dale and the heart of winter and neverwinter tha thas don Baldurs gate Dark alliance 1+2 and that is rreally say something

I think BG and BG2 had a very good music. I can't feel the same atmosphere in Dark Alliance.

There are 2 "Music" folders in there when extracted, which one do i use? The one labeled BGTSCC? Or the one in the normal folder with the other 2 music folders.

You should have downloaded a file called "NWN2 BG music pack.rar"

-open that up and there will be a normal file called "NWN2 BG music pack"

-open that up and there will be three music files: "Music" "Music_X1" and "Music_X2"

Put these into the directory I posted a pic of in the fist post of this thread.

there should be no file named BGTSCC. Make sure to click the link at the bottom of the first post to get the proper file. Maybe someone linked you to the wrong download?

Because of my ISP's politics, I share IP with whole goddamn building (around 20 more people), so every time I try to download something there, all I get is:

Download limit exceeded

Could anyone please upload file somewhere else than megaupload.com?

This is wcked awesome. I alwayas loved the BG music, now there is BG music in NWN 2.. Woohoo, you rock.

I installed it - but it caused a problem when I tried to login to the server: the server auto-update tried to download a small file (few MB) and was simply stuck.
luckily I backed up my Sound folder before applying the changes, and once I reverted the installation the server login worked again.

Sweet maker of all that is holy! I sincerely love you for making this music pack, too long have I been tormented by Youtubes poorly working playlists only to find I could be enjoying the sweet sensation of epic long gone adventures this music is OOZING with.

But! Could I boldly suggest you got rid of the repeatedly annoying NWN theme we have at the merchant camp area? Since I tend to spend a few hours there, id love to have something better to listen to, should I want in game sound

Also: did you forget Kuldahar theme? The best of them all tbh. or is it just in some place I havent visited since I installed it?

@Ithilan- I thought this was the one I have for Wyrms Crossing/Merchant camp? Unless I have it only for myself and somehow didn't add it into the pack... ???


And I'll definitely have to add Kuldahar. I only have a couple from IWD but I'll have to do an update and add more from both 1&2. I sort of left this little project for a while, but I should try and make another update and get more into the game.

Hmm, you're the first one to report this problem. Are you sure you installed it using the override folder? If you do it that way no backup should be required of the original music.

Might just be me, but I aint hearing that Melissan theme Getting all the other stuff though.

Weird, could anyone else confirm whether or not they hear the above song I posted for the Wryms Crossing/Merchant area if they've installed this music? It's one of my fav's actually.

And Ithilan, I think that is the song actually in the first Cloakwood area that I'd overwritten, or was it Sharpteeth? I was contemplating leaving it as I enjoy that one a lot too, but I was just going for change anyway so i switched it.
