If it gets stickied, I can tune up its value to the players by adding a reference list for the most common items in the realms.
Yep, sounds great. Nice guide, Karond.

I updated the topic with an index, and a list of the 200 most common magical items on this server and their respective worth in gold. Hope you guys have some use of it

Nicely done Karond !
I disagree with a lot of the prices listed though
Anyway, bottom line, if it's valuable in the list auction it !

Great list! I find it hard to know what items could be useful for other builds so its awesome for reference. The prices vary of course, I've noticed it greatly with the Auctioneer. Sometimes a strike of random luck seem to make people loot/decide to sell a particular item at the same time... and other times there are more builds of a certain class starting making demand for a particular item go up.
And I found the energy immunities/resistances

This exactly.
Thanks for putting in the effort for such a comprehensive guide. At this time, I would also like to mention that the AH may need to be expanded to hold more than 60 items at a time (if possible without killing the server), since a lot more people are starting to play/auction items!

As far as I can see the Pale Green Ioun Stone is not on the list.
However it's usually sold for around 60-100k.
So I understand your frustration
The same goes for the Greater Helmet of Opposite Alignment.
Also around 60-100k.
I'm unsure if these are newer additions to the loot table as they've only just recently (Some months now though) started to surface.
The ioun stones are a great addition however as the belt slot where are little lacking earlier with the Pale Green Ioun Stone being the best one I've seen so far.

Ioun stones, opposite alignment items and so forth are all new items. I might update the list since we've had many new additions since then, but the tips & tricks section had too many stickied topics and this topic among some others was deemed not worthy to be stickied anymore, so I'm afraid any updates will be irrelevant and lost as it inevitably falls from view. It's a little bit odd, seeing as all but three of those topics who remain stickied are largely irrelevant

Don`t bother with concrete item prices. Depends too much on what one has and is willing to pay. Your categories however are invaluable!

One thing I am missing:
Items with haste x/use per day. Or is that really just not worth mentioning?

You don't get that from the random loot generator to my knowledge. Plus, haste 2/day bracers called "Bracers of the blinding strike" are sold at a merchant. The other one is boots of speed, which is evaluated to 30k in the most common items list. The item seems to be sold at around 20-30k nowadays, so that estimate isn't far off. Most other items don't have haste (10), but haste (5), which really isn't worth anything.

Can someone explain to me why certain gems are so valuable when we don't have a crafting system that uses them?
