*Seth sits down and pens a quick note to Barbryn Glori*
Most Honorable Barbryn Glori,
Just a quick note to inquire about the progress of hiring the individuals in need of work for our keep. We have finished with a temporary well and Tents and tables have been set up to welcome them to our site. We will provide a safe place for them to sleep at night, on sight, if they so wish. Food and water will be provided for them while the work continues.
I anxiously await your reply,
Seth Siger
Knight General of the Order of the Silver Rose

*After seeing that the temporary well has been constructed Haeman heads over to the tents and looks around. He offers smiles to those who volunteered, and helps to heal blisters on hands. His own having gained a few from all the shoveling a few days ago. At night the flames flicker from the torches in the night as he takes up a watch on the site looking about.
So many are without work, without food, and some have turned to banditry. He sighs hoping that new construction may help boost the local economy by creating jobs, giving people something to do, help feed them, and maybe even teach them new skills that will help them in the future. He takes a few more steps around the camp pausing every now and then to look out into the darkness and then towards the towering sight of the Friendly Arms Inn.
Satisfied with his rounds he stacks a few shovels quietly and nods to the oncoming guard as he heads off on patrol.*

*Hearing the rumours surrounding the carvan escort and after speaking with several citizens and members of the Silver Rose, Elvina writes a letter to the Merchant League*
To whom it may concern at the Merchant League:
It has come to our attention that there have been rumours floating around about the Order of the Silver Roses' involvement in the Caravan Esscort. I am writing to quell those rumours once and for all and also to offer our services to find and bring to Justice those responsible for this heinous act and tragedy that has befallen the good people of the realms.
Sir Uriel and I mearly LOOKED into the caravans, ensureing the cargo had made it safely to it's destination. What I saw when I looked inside was "Silks and Textiles of unknown origin, though they looked Southern. I was not able to gauge thier worth." Upon seeing this merchandise, we were very upset wondering if they were worth the lives lost and those gravely injured risking thier lives to protect them. Might I add as a follower of Meilikki myself, the deaths of two of the horses was terrible indeed. We were informed just recently, the two caravans held mear rags under the textiles and that many of the public knew of this well before we found out.
I can only speak for the two caravans we escorted. I do not know about the other two, although I heard there was foul play involving one of the people masquerading as someone wishing to see the caravan to safety, when in reality he proceeded to burn one of the caravans to the ground rendering the cargo useless and he is still at large. I say to them, "Woe to those who attack and steal from the innocent and the poor for we shall not stand idly by and allow them to continue thier reign of terror."
Please be assured the Order of the Silver Rose had no involvement in these evil plots and we wish to see these evil doers brought to justice. We shall swear it upon our gods as you can see we still retain thier favor in the healing spells and other powers they bestow upon us.
We would be very happy to aid in any further caravans to or from the region that contain goods to aid in the relief efforts and have also come up with ways to prevent this disgusting travesty from happening again. Please seek out myself, Sir Haeman or Sir Seth for an audience to discuss this further in private.
Thank you for your time and your continued effort to aid the region in recovering from this horrific recession, your good deeds will not go unnoticed.
Sincerely,
Lady Elvina Aira-S'efarro
Knight Commander of the Order of the Silver Rose
*The Letter is sealed with the stamp of the Order of the Silver Rose and Hand Delivered to the Ones in Charge of the Merchant League. A copy of the Letter is posted on the bulletine board for all to read.*

Recorded in duty log for OSR Keep Construction
I have taken the 'Employment Fliers' provided to me by Sir Seth and sought to place them at prominent trail-heads and pathways where I know there to be traffic, but might have been missed by our efforts, which were focused mainly in the towns and city. I have taken the liberty of adding an elven footnote with the hopes that we will engender some degree of empathy from that community as well (and knowing they elves frequent some of my posting sites).
I noticed large amounts of dead plant matter on or near the site due to the unfortunate, but needed clear cutting of the vegetation. Using Earth elemental form mainly, I have gathered and leveled those areas. Then using fire elemental form I proceeded to use a controlled burn to turn all waste vegetation into charcoal to be used to fire our forges and other fire needs.
Progress seems to have slowed, as expected.

Dear Lady Elvina,Seth
I am pleased to report Mr Silverfist and I have secured a sizeable labor force with the effort you put into placing the recruitment postings over the region we had quite the turnout. All Mr Silverfist needs at this point in time is for the materials ordered to arrive should be any day now. With the amount of effort your group has already put into clearing the land and securing a water source to use Mr Silverfist was pleased to report you are already ahead of schedule. Keep up the good work and be well, I will be in touch again soon.
Sincerely,
Barbryn Glori

* Upon reading Barbryn Glori's response, Seth grins from ear to ear, like a schoolboy with his first taste of birthday cake. He takes the letter to the bulletin board in the temple of Tyr for all to see, and says to himself* "This should lift everyones spirits!" *And he pins it to the board.*

Cyrus stop by the construction site and take some time to clear debis and garbage out of the way, and generaly clean and organize the area. Organizes the tools, and double checks the well for poisons the only way he knows.....by drinking the water.
He double checks all the tents, making sure the ropes are not worn and are tight, and then checks the canvas for tears or leaks.
He then grabs a shovel and marks off an area far enough away from the keep that can be used for Privies for the workers. He makes some notes to get some larger chamber style pots to be used in the privies so the waste can be taken from the build site and depsosed of properly as not to bring disease and pestilence.
He writes up his thoughts, and leaves them for Sir Seth and Sir Uriel to review.
Upon completing these tasks he heads off for some rest

Cyrus visits the construction site, looking around he is not sure what needs to be done. Unable to find any instructions he double checks tents and equipment, runs water and food to workers, and generally pitches in where ever he can to help out.
After a few hours, he cleans up and heads out to patrol the open roads until he can find other
members of the order to go with him into the ruins.

*Lady Elvina earlier today was seen handing out Granny Helena's fresh Homemade apple pie to some who passed by and the workers at the construction site. She also cleaned up a bit, as much she could, cared for some plants and animals and left refreshing drinks for the workers to share*

*Haeman posts in the log of all Knight to see*
Today I headed to the construction site where I meet Mr. Keegan. We got to talking as he was smoothing out some rough patched in the site and I was trying to get a rather stubborn rock broken up that was unearthed during the digging. He seems a very well manners and good natured man and I hope after his time of reflecting on the code that he does decide to join our beloved Order.
I also met Mr. El’Aust and I was proud to inform him that later, if he still wished to join the Order, I would be honored to perform his Squiring Ceremony. I ask that all available Knights and Squires attend at the Temple of Tyr.
Also of note I met a man earlier who.. had a few questions but had some odd things to say. May have to keep an eye on him. *Describes Mahri Paracliti*.
