Being a retatively new Faern pupil to the Mage College, my interest in the rumors and now newly found confirmation of Quil Arken'tlar ironically conspicuous death is both unsettling and intriging. Most querries within the school are hushed yet talk among the tunnels echos of jealousy and pride.

There is much the Darkness can contribute to the Weave for it surrounds everthing that make the Underdark what it is. Passions and Jealousies cause imballance and can lead to many narrow minded actions. One can hope that this tragedy will not cause the loss of another Teacher of the Weave among us Faern for only through knowlege can true power be attained, weilded and commanded.

Signed,

Kilrahel of the Undermountain

Over the last couple of days there has been a buzz of excitment in the Gloura's Wings Tavern. It seems a certain masked bard has been doing performances for any audience willing to put up with his antics and pay small coin for his music. The Gloura's do not mind the extra business, and for the moment it seems like the fellow is intent to sit around and play music for most of the day.

Rumor has it that recently the drow wizard known as Eldebryn was admitted in the School of Mages, as a result of his persistent study of all schools of spells as a Generalist, as well as his admittance by Rauva Eilservs, a teacher at the School who was seen discussing with the ambitious wizard more than once.
Furthermore, around the School, word has it that this individual has demonstrated a great interest not only in magic itself, but also the essence of the Weave, knowledge regarding divine matters, historical events as well as the lore that surrounds anything related to the Arcane.
In fact many claim that he has undergone great effort in order to find books containing the above, some of them found in the School's library, others purchased from merchants coming from the fabled Candlekeep . Some describe him as someone with a sharp mind and great potential, others are confident that he will never manage to achieve a significant amount of influence and that he will end up as a librarian or scholar for the School.
Either way it is, the wizard is often seen studying tomes of all kinds, and researching spells. Other than that he is perceived as a quiet and even boring person, albeit a little odd at times.

[OOC: I know that Darkwoods are not existing on server, but they exist in Sshamath and are headache of the city, so...]

One rumour says that unknown female wanders in the Darkwoods area, preaching to the local habitats. It is not sure who is she and what really happens there, but various witnesses claim that she survives due to the facts that she is wearing very revealing robes and there is a presence of peace that follows her. Another witness said that the broad sword on her hip, as dented and rusted as it is, is a lethal weapon in her hands. Whatever the truth is, she comes out alive out of the slums, seemingly beyond the dangers of the dark streets near the tower of the Masked Mage.

Considering the above to be odd, the not-as-young-as-he-seems wizard named Eldebryn attempts to find out more about these incidents. His curiosity is one of the few things than can surpass his rationality, and that only rarely. Why would one chose to preach in such a place? A priestess of Lolth would have no reason to do so considering the existence of the two Houses in Ssamath... There could be an unknown force here, and he wishes to know more about that, asking adventurers or other people who might have been in the Darkwoods for information.

In the meanwhile he is seeking to contact someone from the Shadow School which focuses on the various aspects of the Dark Weave. If asked he answers that his is seeking someone on behalf of Deldur, a drow monk who is interested in a monastic order related to the Dark weave and wishes to know more about it.

Through Eldebryn's discrete and well placed inquiries, he finds a name. An apprentice named Agramiire. Who is a recent addition to the school of divination. Her residence is unknown, but through more inquiries such trivial knowledge is easily obtained if one is seeking one who is unaware of being found...

The wizard walks in the streets of Sshamath, using his staff to walk in spite of his physical weariness. He proceeds with his search and attempts to learn more about the individual, especially her habits and if possible the divine force she is serving, although he is not exactly sure what kind of deity he hopes she might be serving... Moreover, he is surprised to know the she is a member of the one of the Schools...
The more he learns, the more intriguing the case seems. Should he learn anything more, such as her residence, he will note it alongside the rest of the information he has about her. He is planning to avoid a direct face to face approach for now, for it seems that there will probably be no worthy benefit from such an encounter.

New rumors circulate that the individual is a visitor, but she visits town occasionally, taking supplies and treasures. She is said to be often seen at the Varalla's Passage guard post with some alcohol drinks.

Rumors of Preaching in the streets of Sshamath by a Jalil who worships Lloth, her fire for her Goddess is strong and has been seen outwardly speaking of Lloth to any and all around her.

Eo sits in the Varalla's passage with a drink, snickering, but sadly at the priestess of Lolth. She haves her drink and goes out in the caverns to her hideout, checking her gear and praying once.

An armored male approaches the assumed priestess and regards her with a look of annoyance.

"Cease dost rabble jalil or dos will pay a price for dost speaking privledges" He begins to write a summons for some ludicrous amount of currency to fine her with.

She continues to praise Lolth as she walks off into the city as she throws the summons into the gutter.
