“I have a different idea of elegance. I don't dress like a fop, it's true, but my moral grooming is impeccable. I never appear in public with a soiled conscience, a tarnished honor, threadbare scruples, or an insult that I haven't washed away. I'm always immaculately clean, adorned with independence and frankness. I may not cut a stylish figure, but I hold my soul erect. I wear my deeds as ribbons, my wit is sharper then the finest mustache, and when I walk among men I make truths ring like spurs.”

I am getting a lot of cleric and human/ halfling applications right now. To give you an idea of what has already applied, here are some visual interpretations of mine. You might be able to spot your character in there. ;)

Perhaps is someone makes an application for a class/race that is already represented heavily, but there is a class/race that is unrepresented, there could be some way to let us know that we should make a new application?

Humans and Halflings are well represented already. As are fighters and clerics. Anything else goes, for new applicants.

Not relevant. I will simply pick eight characters out of all the applications that are being send in.

If your character doesn't make the cut, I might use him/ her as an NPC.

That's a remarkably good simulation from my poor description.

or some sort of unique divine boon.
I think I have found the cause of the clerical applications.

I'd love to join, and it sounds crazy fun.. but my weekends are pretty random, and I would have a hard time committing to anything structured Sat-Sun. Should there be any chance of a Mon-Fri late-night Central (GMT-6) gathering of this sort, count me in.

That said - apply already people. I am excited to read about your adventures.

Should we send more than one character to give ourselves a better chance then?

I did! :P

But mostly because I had two character ideas that I couldn't really choose between. They're both kind of similar, though.

Well I'm keen that we fill the holes, so I'll give this thread a bump, and also put up a build that would cover a Race & Class not yet mentioned: http://nwn2db.com/build/?116469

CLOSING APPLICATIONS

...after 72 hours. I did not expect it to generate this much interest. I'm really excited. We have 12 character applications! I'm currently still working my way through all the applications. I will pick 8, based on anything from party compatibility (can't have 6 rogues in one party, can we? ;) ) to quality of the character's biography.

Character's will receive six things at the start of the events. This can include a gold boost, experience boost, custom armour, a custom weapon or a special token (for example: a scar that grants the character -1 charisma, but +6 intimidation).

The storyline will also be tailored towards the characters' biographies.
