Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

One of the staff are told to get a guard and he rushes out to do so. With the new commotion coming from "the Vision room", some staff head that way in a hurry as well but are reluctant to open the door remembering Herrans request to no be disturbed.

From the force of his terrible song, her body weakened and will nearly broken, Mila decided to yield to the demands of his questioning. She allowed the hood to be removed and tries to reach into her pack to remove the carefully kept cloth holding their engagement ring, to show him that it is indeed her and not some stranger.

"It's me, love..." she would manage weakly.
"I just thought I was supposed to..." her voice would trail off as she weakly awaited his reaction, she was determined to try and escape the room if the violence continued.

Hoihe thinks of going to the director's room, perhaps seeing if Herran has any charisma enhancing item with him. He carries the golden diamond closer and closer to the directors room with Herran within as he uses the chance made when the staff member went to get a guard to get closer. Still invisible and safe from detection, He'd try and enter the director's room unannounced.


He thinks to himself: "My, what a commotion. If Camille indeed has copper or green or back dragon blood then I think I am spending far too much time with her. I hope Kifel won't find out. Makes the blood running, that's for sure. Let's hope Herran can give me a ring or something so I can get into the Underdark or help against the black orcs.. Damn Phyldia and her slow handiwork on my talisman."


((*Begins mourning his 86 points in lawful, sure that this chaos Hoihe caused will make his above average lawful score weaker*

Outside The Room

Several staff members are already around the door to the Directors room, some arguing openly now, though in hushed tones, as to whether or not they should open the door.


Inside The Room

As Mila gives in to his demands and allows her hood ... and mask to be removed Herran freezes for a moment, again confused. The potion still affecting him greatly, his mouth opens many times to say something ... but his mind does not allow for a coherent sound to be uttered.

He paws at her face over and over again , not forcefully, not painfully, but in a manner expressing his disbelief in his own eyes ability to see what it is he sees, as if ... there would be another layer there .. with someone? .... something? ... beneath.

"Mila?"

He falls back now, to his elbows as he stares at her ...

Hoihe stands invisibly beside the staff members, wondering what they are all so upset about. Thinking Herran is in trouble he would attempt kicking the door in, thus cancelling his invisibility and causing a massive ruckus and scaring whatever staff members are near him. He draws a silver longsword and shouts, completely irrelevantly, "Come out you accursed vampire! You ain't getting Herran on my watch!" He holds out the gold diamond to possibly lure the vampire attacker towards him.. if there was a vampire attacker

Hoihe has a strength mod of 5.

*The startled staff tackle Hoihe thinking HIM the attacker and with their numbers wrestle him to his knees though not all the way to the ground, just inside the now splintered door.
"Wait! WAIT!" One of them shout, realizing who Hoihe is. "It's the mouthy Candle Keeper. Let'em go. Let'em up!"
Just then a Flaming Fist arrives with several curious citizens in tow. "What's this screaming of vampires?"

Herran jumps to his feet and charges the breaking door in all his nakedidity.

Armed only with his songs, he attempts to grab Mila and pull her behind him, he quickly sings a chorus of heroism, followed by a song of ironskin. His eyes ablaze with anger, frustration, and the shout of Vampire, he is about to release the song of requiem when he finally realizes who it is that has busted in, he bites down on the tip of his own tongue -hard- to stop the song before it reaches its deadly conclusion.

Blood now gushing from his mouth, he turns to Mila ... Then Hoihe ... then the staff ... and finally to the fist. The spinning, reeling, potion, emotions, confusion and now loss of blood finally take its toll. As he turns finally to Mila once more he grabs her in a loose hug and drops to his knees, burying his face in her as he slides down, which also covers her in his own blood.

Momentarily startled at the sudden burst of unwanted visitors into the room where they have attempted to recreate Herran's vision, Mila curses under her breath and reaches out for one of the bedsheets, attempting to half-cover her confused love in his weakened state as she holds him close, even as the staff and numerous Flaming Fist arrive.

"Calm down, love...it is me, I'm here for you." she would whisper softly, in an attempt to calm the distraught Herran down a little. Her gaze quickly returns to the Fist who have barged in:
"It is alright, good sirs, there is no vamp-..."

"Hoihe, wait, the gem!" she suddenly exclaims, pointing a finger not towards the gem but towards someone in the crowd who's seemed to have emerged with, at least to her, eyes locked onto the yellow gem that Hoihe is holding.

"What?!" Hoihe quickly tucks the gem deep in his fist and attempts to break free to get the diamond into safety and in order to avoid getting in an embarrassing situation with no vampire he utters "sjach wiap *krer* iejir hofiba okh" and a shadow in the corner takes the shape of a vampire bat and flies towards the nearest window to escape. Anyone with good enough spellcraft would notice it was a stilled shadow conjuration used to create an image of a vampire bat. He would then look towards where Mila points and coughs up some blood, cursing under his breath "Bloody hells be with the balors and their accursed long blades."

"Mila ...." he says weakly as looks up to her "Make them go away ..." a song of healing begins to fill the air as he hums calmly now in her grasp.

"Gem?" he gasps , and turns his head towards Hoihe, then to where he looks.

"There!" Shouts one of the curious citizens as the bat like form melts through the window.
Muffled screams can be heard from the others gathered as they cower in fear. The Fist guard cautiously approaches the window and breathes a sigh of relief. "It is gone." He reports. "I must report this to my watch captain. But first let me get everyone's names here. For my report. "
He takes down the names of staff and citizens and the crowd begins to depart.

((They certainly take long O.o. That's the reason I asked becuse we're doing a short RP over the course of multiple days IRL.))

Hoihe thinks to himself and silently sighs with relief as he swatted two birds with one rock. "Name's Seeker Hoihe Dacino of Candlekeep, Aribahamutdarastrixarytiss, Ariorntenresjvorastrix, Ariornternesjdarastrixarytiss, Jilgbisai and the navigator of the Whistling Wanderess. Now..." he looks around the crowd to spy if anyone wants the golden diamond which he bloodied in his grip

As the crowd dissipates Herran allows himself to drop down to a sitting position at Mila's feet, head in his hands, trying desperately to clear his head from the effects of the potion.

He finally thinks to hum a song of freedom, eyes closed, leaning into Mila, allowing .... relying on her ... for the strength he needs.
