Pale master Summon greater undead question

Just make the create greater undead similar to the lvl 10 PM summon, problem solved.

Implement the epic spell "mummy dust" and make it require 10 levels of palemaster. Then the class can get access to their truly epic undead minion.

Seems fair that the PM has to invest a feat on it seeing that is doesn't take anything to qualify for the class like it does in PnP.

Only if that mummy is able to move at regular speed.
Otherwise, it's gonna be a royal pain in the ass to use.

Insightful Strike was already pushed down two levels in order to make Gishes give up an extra 2 levels to take it.

So when do we get to take the vamp warlock away?

Now that I think of it, almost everyone here talks only of empowering this or that or adding this or that. Why don't we start UNDERPOWERING the whole server's classes and feats a bit?

Well to be fair, so can PM's if they go for more caster levels. But yes, I do kind of feel it a bit wierd their summon sucks worse then the 8th level counterpart. Many different lenses to look at this issue with.

Not really. Create Greater Undead was 6 secs/lvl exactly for this reason. PM's Greater Vampire was just a bit less powerful, but eternal, which meant every buff investment on it was a good one. This made it much more stable, and in the end much more powerful (thanks to the devs work, the PM has been completely revamped, making it a very good class. Summons included.) than anything else you could ever summon with any character.

So, dont blame the PM summon. Go ahead and ask for reverting CGU to the duration it always had, and should have. Anything else is just persevering with the same mistakes.
