But if the moon-elf would look up from his book, back towards the bar, he would most assuredly notice the two men still talking, but now, also looking from time to time, directly at the moon-elf, then, returning to a quiet debate. As it would appear to the moon-elf, these two men did not seem distressed or wary when observing from across the hall room...but it was obvious, they were talking about him.
Without further ado, the two men walked away from the bar on a path directly to the seated moon-elf. Once just outside the sitter's personal space, they two stopped, and then spoke:
"Sir...allow us to disturb your reading in this moment, and take a seat with you upon this table. What has been usual and reliable of the Helm is not longer so...and we feel it in your interest we tell you that, as you seem to plan to take lodging here. It is to your benefit...."
Smythe waits to see if the moon-elf is accommodating...and interested in what they have to say.
