I like the Xorn used in the regular gate spell - its hideously awesome!
I thought the neutral aligned creature for Epic Gate was a Monolith - which I for some reason assumed was a big earth elemental- am I wrong about that?
The Golem skin is a good idea. The actual earth elemental skin is too big, bulky, clunky and as well, too common. Using a stone/clay/iron skin and calling it something fancy would be simple and stylish. Are there clay/stone golems in nwn2?
You could use a Golem skin and call it a monolith/elder earth elemental - which are usually neutral aligned anyways. You could also use the iron golem or "The Construct Companion" from the game....and just call it a summoned "construct".
Well, I suppose there could be lots of ideas for a neutral align summon choices, where you would would not have to fudge the stats differently from an angel/demon.
I like connection between the alignment of the summons and that of the players alignment, as it makes alignment choice in game for characters, all the more important. There is too much 'closet evil' on this server - c'mon summon them balors- they are f'n awesome looking - show me how evil you are - don't be ashamed- commit to your evilness!
Turning into a rant.....better stop.
