A letter is delivered, addressed to Adelaide van der Saer. It bears a wax seal, emblazoned with the twin-headed coin of Hoar.

Come first moonlight on the 18th of Hammer, the Moonlady Shandril Brightmantle gathers the congregation in the temple along with the faithful whom may wish to lend ear.

"Brothers and sisters, long has it been on my mind what depravity this city has fallen to. Though many a benevolent god is upheld by the tenets of their faiths and the city prospers from their influences, yet more often people are driven in to their clutch out of ignorance or yet worse, fear."

"In a city state such as this, where commerce is flowing and trade is the very foundation of the city, ships cut through the Sea of Swords in endless droves beyond counting and the sailors that frequent the Gate have become pivotal in so many aspects of the prosperity of the Dukes."

"Yet these good men and women, privateers and merchant vessels alike, war galleons and fisher boat. Many of these people are as differing as night and day, yet in their indifference of the divine, they still pay lip service and offerings to The Bitch Queen."

She exhales a long drawn sigh and holds her hands out to the side with open palms, gesturing to the temple halls that soround them.

"Yet by the brilliant light of the goddess, I would have them steer with even-keel for that vast horizon under the Moon. Seek not to appease a spiteful and wicked goddess whom in her wrath may as well drown her most loyal of following, as a complete stranger. No the Sea's are ever changing, violent and in a constant flux, but guide by the stars true and let the light of the Sea of Night above lead you to fortunate currents and straits, that by the benevolence of the Moonmaiden you should find sanctuary from the ire of Umberlee."

"Let it be known that those whom desire are welcome here, as all whom seek to thrive in the light and turn away the darkness. The tyrannical rule of the Queen of the Depths shall no longer go uncontested through out the dock ward as the silver moon waxes and wanes, so too does ebb and flow, the currents and tides, old cycles come to an end and heralds the birth of another, let us forge the future to be a brigther one for all whom so desire."

She bids Sascha Marshal the Selunite priestess from Calimshan continue with the waxing moon chant and takes a seat on the front row of benches joining in the ceremony as the chanting of primarily female voices fills the temple halls with a soft hymn.

Adelaide is still staying in the Halls of Inner Light and spends time in prayer and doing temple chores, yet the time on them have lessened as she has found inner peace and is once again looking to pick up more duties outwards.

She is found present during the congregation, listening with a ponderous expression as Shandril's words carry through the large hall. There is a warm smile on her lips during the chant, which she does not know the words to but nontheless tries to hum along to.

Afterwards she would seek out Shandril and offer kind words of thanks for her address to the congregation.

The day after the treaty with the Zhentarim is announced, Adelaide hires a horse from a stable outside the city walls and can be seen riding off in full armor. The paladin would not be expected to return for some days.

Luke stops by the Temple and drops off a letter addressed to Shandril and Erza.

The bed Adelaide occupied would be empty for some days after the paladin returns from a journey. During midday, Adelaide is frequently seen at the temple and making use of the library and speaking with a halfling priestess to learn more about Sheela Peryroyl. It would be known around the temple that she has decided to support the temple more and is in the process of learning about all the faiths within.

A junior member of the clergy of Lathander enters the temple quietly. He looks about, a bit forlorn, before approaching one of the sisters working in the common room. Speaking softly he passes a rolled parchment addressed to the temple clergy. In his satchel can be seen many such rolled missives. With a reticent smile he turns back toward the door, his lean, youthful frame moving quickly toward his next stop.

Two letters are delivered by hand to the temple guard, both immaculately prepared and sealed with a blue wax sigil inset with the Espruar letters A.A. One is addressed to Lady Erza Aldren, the other to Shandril Brightmantle.

One of the handrails of the Gazebo in the gardens of the Halls of Inner Light has been savagely attacked - by blade, and by rough kicking. Some damage was done.
