The point of origin shows as "Guide's Office, Candlekeep."

Anyone entering the basement of the Darius Holding Warehouse might notice a horse and wagon parked in the center of the basement. In front of the horse is a barrel of water, possibly in need of a refill, and next to it a crate of corn and carrots. A bit of hay has been spread around it too. The horse would be very complaisant and friendly.

By further inspection into the wagon, you might see an unusual amount of crates with corn within it. Jannik Darius might also mention that the horses name is Rochester, if you were to ask him.




UPDATE: The place where Rochester stood is now empty and left as before, if not even cleaner. Clearly someone has been scrubbing the floors.

A frequent visitor to the DHC's headquarters is Adelaide, who can be seen carrying boxed things to it.

Maybe the woman is decorating. She certainly looks cheerful but then, when doesn't she?

A visitor arrived in the Darius Holding Company today. She asked Jack if she could have an audience with Luke or Fingal about an important acquisition, that of a blue diamond, as well as the potential cost for such services.

After a long meeting with Luke Darius, tall beturbaned man would be seen quite often in the Minstrel's Muse.

Always calm and very polite, he identified himself as Zayed Tahan, a mystic from Calimshan in service of the Water Lord. Further conversation would reveal he was there to learn, improve and share his bardic teachings. The man seemed particularly talented with his deep melodic voice, as well as the yartring and hand drum.

Late in the day, several hand carts and small wagons depart from the Darius Holding Company warehouse heading to the Halls of Inner Light. They deliver and unload several crates of goods before returning back to the warehouse.

A saffron robed man hurriedly makes his way through the city streets of Baldur's Gate, his leather sash of tools rattling noisily as his feet bounce off the stones. He heads towards the harbor district, making a direct route towards the Minstrel's Muse.

He removes his large sunhat as he enters the interior and seeks out the first person willing to accept the message. He asks that the scroll be delivered to Luke or Fingal Darius on behalf of Zac Welm, cleric of Gond, at the earliest convenience.

The fidgety man passes off the rolled up message and heads back out into the city, seeming to be in a particularly chipper mood.

*Luke, dressed in the typical red and black silks, sporting a large wolf hide over his shoulders and a wide-brimmed hat pulled low towards his face, could be seen moving through the city with his head held high, tacking up a poster on the billboard in the East Gate District over the old notice. A few would be passed out by hand as well, the man smiling warmly as he goes.*

The Darius Holding Company is offering a BOUNTY on Northern Troll Hides, culled from the trolls of the Trollclaws.

We will now pay 300 gold coins for each hide. Candlekeep only pays 125. We are now paying over twice the price that Candlekeep offers.

Large Troll hides only. Trollhides from Trolls of the Trollclaws only. Other troll hides will be refused and remedies against any attempts to defraud the Darius Holding Company will be vigorously pursued.

Luke makes the rounds again, tacking up a new poster over top the old one, humming a jolly tune as he does.

In many thanks to competitors and their artistic endeavor our standing order for troll hides was filled quite successfully and in short order. Our client was very pleased and has their current need for troll hides satisfied. As such we are not offering any further bounties.

On a completely unrelated point, if anyone seeks to melt down large sums of less valuable foreign gold currency into proper trade bars I do have contacts. From experience, it does work well with the less valuable and more suspect eastern currency.

A wagon containing approximately 200 hundred troll hide arrives at the Darius Holding Company. The wagon is dragged by a wheezing half-orc. The half-orc hands a letter bearing the Ebon Blade mark at delivery.

The letter reads,

"As promised the delivery of 182 troll hides. I realize you no longer have a demand for troll hides. These hides have already been paid for by Fingal Darius."
