A rotund, mustachioed merchant making his way down the Sword Coast halts at Soubar to rest. Though he has hailed from the northern roads, he boasts of returning from a "lucrative venture in the deep south". The only thing eye-catching about this greasy middle-aged man, other than the armed guards and strange mercantile equipment he travels with (armor and weapons including in a brutal far-eastern axe, along with an assortment of gems, wands, scrolls, spell reagents and spices), is the fine mauve cap he wears that seems craft with elven elegance - plumed, peculiarly, with the single feather of a common heron.

A wizard dressed in mauve silks teleported into Soubar and ran towards Boareskyr Bridge. He was sweating, as if he had been rushing around. At Boareskyr Bridge, he met with a young woman for several minutes.

Afterwards, he ran back into Soubar, asking around for a wizard who has been to Everlund and can teleport there.

Finding no one, he teleported away. No one heard him speak the words to any spell.

The wizard seemed quite anxious.

Three people are seen just outside Soubar talking, singing and enjoying the peaceful eve.

Suddenly shades and shadows flood the area attempting to separate and confuse.

The battle lasts long into the night as a bardess and a bard are heard cursing and flooding the entire area with quaking voice magics.

Finally it is over, the two look to each other and offer a brief smile, followed by one of shock and dismay.

CYYY !!!! CY! The name echoes out across the river as they both shout looking for their newly found friend.

Nearly six years after the last time Candlekeep hosted the general public for a storytelling festival, prominently placed announcements herald the revival of the much-loved tradition under the direction of Guide Alexandra Keenan.

The argument that some of the citizens might have heard detailed accusations of Attempted arson on the Phoenix Company Lodge, attacking and killing one of the guards Phoenix Company Guards, and openly assaulting two Phoenix Company Agents in the region of Friendly's. Its said that the exchange escalated into full battle that ended with the death of the Elf. Fearful of retailiation from the citizen she teleport-ed them quickly away.*

Rumors of combat sessions maintained by a rather large eart genasi in the Northern Farmlands would circulate over the last tenday. The Bladestone Foundation might be heard by any that come upon the training sessions.

Warriors, Priests, Rogues, Bards and Archers can bee seen taking the field in groups of two, and three to hone their skills against one another as the genasi circles the combatants and makes notes of each students personal ability and prowess in working with others. He is often seen making adjustments to the teams, rules and tactics. One might note that while he has much experience, he seems uncertain in certain aspects of training and to be learning as the school progresses from one session to the next.

It is said that the following rumor is a few years old and only relates to events that happened in 1350. ((In RP that took place in 2014 and was approved at the time by DM Nilbog, but this RP is not currently or recently taking place and is in fact years old since it occurred. This DM approved RP from years ago is in fact so old and now out of date with current developments in the area in which it took place that any RP responses or follow ups to it will be deleted as they would be considered godmoding and metagaming.))

---

The few adventurers brave enough to dare the Fields of the Dead in their travels, as well as the most desperate of grave robbers (because everyone with good sense knows it's not a good idea to steal from the dead, when their eyes are ever-vigilant and they still walk...) might have noticed a strange degree of activity, and namely a rather consistent mass of walking corpses moving towards Thundar's Ride as if driven by a common purpose.

The most imaginative tales speak of a hooded figure haunting the desolated landscape, black as the night itself, and supposedly the will behind the army of the dead following in its wake.

Rumors have it that the remains of several bugbear hunting groups have been found scattered across the northern part of Thundar's Ride, usually not far from the most traveled paths heading towards Soubar and Boareskyr Bridge.

Some gossip that a few especially loquacious witnesses speak not only of death, but of bodies ripped apart, maimed and chewed in a ferocious, animalistic fashion.
