This is rather of topic but i also disagree with the holy sword/unholy sword/Lawful sword changes. They are iconic spells heavily themed around the paladin and blackguard class and one of the only reasons to not end paladin progression at level 4 (excluding epic smite). Now i get that its 6/seconds in pnp and the sever needs to be balanced effectively, However if this was pnp i would have a paladin mount, several mounted feats and a much larger spell selection, encounters would be 1 - 3 a rest and would not require a 1min/level spell.

As for balance, well that depends on how you determine it if we go based on other classes thanks to divine power a paladin falls flat when compared to the other divine classes. In the end you are playing a heavily rp restricted character who is ultimately outclassed, The obvious choice then becoming 4 paladin 26 FS so you can have all the paladin goodies, the RP and be powerful.
As far as Lawful sword goes I do not see issue with that one as it only does damage to Chaotic I do not think that 90% of the mobs on the server are Chaotic like they are EVIL.

Unholy sword is virtually useless except for PvP. Which would raise another topic that EVIL PCs have no place to go and kill good guys! I hereby lobby for more areas for EVIL peeps!

Holy sword is OP for the reason that if the Dispel is working it dispels really well! Then it has +5 EB Vs Evil and 2d6. This is problematic BC over 90% of the mobs are EVIL. So far they removed dispel and put it at 6s/CL. I was only advocating for either or. So I felt that they could remove the +5 EB and the Dispel and keep it at 1min/CL but I also think they should make the wands and scrolls usable by any alignment that is NOT EVIL. This means Neutral to Good. That in my mind gives Paladins the needed damage they crave. It opens the spell up to a very large portion of the server that plays. Whether by UMD of the scrolls or wands or a Paladin casting it on the player or another player casting it on them via UMD or wand.

Otherwise I think it should be as it is intended 6s/CL +5 EB 2d6 and LEVLE 15 Dispel on hit. Is it greater dispel too? That is one seriously powerful blade if so........

They already removed the dispel and whats the problem with +5 EB vs Evil ? Nearly everyone has GMW which gives +5 EB against everything and for 1hour/level and you can remove the +5EB vs evil if you want it, any paladin etc already uses Weapons of deity or GMW which gives +5EB as well. Why not bring it back to 1 min/level with +5EB vs Evil and 2d6 vs evil or just 2d6 and lock it to paladins, not sure why are you saying it's so OP when it's clearly not.

In terms of implementation it was reverted to the way it was originally, before it received the dispel and extra duration. That happened on account of a QC discussion at that time, in which it was considered a good idea to try it. But the trend in QC was that turn / level + dispel was too much. So I reverted that. The community also reflected that stance.

I personally feel its a good idea to set Holy Sword and Lawful Sword apart by giving Lawful Sword a duration of turn / level. While Holy Sword stays at round / level but gets the dispel? Something like that.

At any rate, its a content balance discussion. Not really a bug. I suggest opening a different topic for it, and having an in-depth balance discussion there. There's every chance it will be reflected in the update process.

Hi,

i entered the character creation menu on the server.

The class description (especially the prc) didnt show different lore (like religion) requirements for entry of prc.

Also the Arcan Scholar class description was overwritten by the Eldritch knight class description.

Not sure if it was discussed... but some of the classes have incorrect requirements... Such as:

- Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep has Eldritch Knight descriptions
- Eldritch Knight has War Priest descriptions
- Sacred Fist has Frenzied Berserker descriptions
- Frenzied Berzerker has Warlock descriptions
- Hellfire Warlock has Favored Soul descriptions
- Invisible Blade has Arcane Scholar of Candle Keep descriptions
- Favored Soul has Invisible Blade descriptions
- Duelest has Sacred Fist descriptions
- War Priest has Duelest descriptions

All I did was summon elemental and sand warriors. Got 3 sand warriors, 2 earth elemental, 1 air element, and 3 intermittent wolves.

One earth element ether died or disappeared, and the wolves just blinked in and out.

Carl (the skull) seems to have VERY erratic behavior:
-Always resets back to puppet mode (between loggins/resets)
-Once issued to follow or hold will not return to attack or defend
-When commanded to attack or defend will often just sit (and look awesome)
-If possessed in puppet mode, my character often starts casting random spells (with AI)

Character: Barbarian / Warrior of Darkness

Shield bash wasn't pickable until the epics (the requirements of BAB and Shield Bash were met at level 4)

Awesome Blow doesn't work. It also has requirements of an epic feat but is in the general feat category. (Tested on Tasloi as a medium sized PC)

Scroll Scribing
Not so much a bug just being a bit confused: Anyone have enough free time to explain the scribing mechanics?
When scribing a scroll you have to choose a caster level but it seems almost random as to what CL won't cause it to issue a warning about being outside the accepted range (or something to that effect).
But it will produce the scroll anyway with a seemingly fixed cost and then add on a random(?) charge for the caster level afterwards (i.e. A second line appears indicating a gold cost)

And related to that: With a 15 CL limit you can't actually scribe a level 9 scroll at the minimum level required to cast it.

Study spell
Tried to study the scroll of Mass Cat's Grace I had scribed, it returned the message "You can find no magic on this object" or something like that.

Everything else I had scribed worked though.
Mostly I'm just glad scribing and brewing are back to working, thanks all.

Not sure if this a bug or not but, if you cast flames of faith and then weapons of the deity it gives the keen property to the weapon but does not give the enhancement bonus to the weapon.
If you cast weapons of the deity and then flames of faith it works normally not sure if this happens with any other spells like bless weapon etc, i will test it as well

Flames of faith works normally on both cases, just the weapons of deity doesn't work on the first case.

Also did you guys change the Weapons of deity spell ? It seems like its adding the property "Massive Criticals : 1d10" to the weapon as well, not sure if its meant to do that...

My Ilmatari cleric with the Suffering domain has access to the bard spell Dirge. This is pretty awesome but the DC it had seems a bit wonky. It was cast as a lvl 8 spell from a lvl 29 caster with 10 wisdom bonus. So it should have a DC of 31 (10+10wis+8SL+3EpicCL). It has had a DC of 27, I think 19 and even occasionally goes up to 127!! Yes, 127.
