33 CL does slightly increase the strength of mords, which as an abjurer is basically your one gimmick (along with counterspelling).

Yep. Which was why I considered it. But since I have to RCR, I'm considering more to gain another Spell-like ability—such as Mordainkain's if available—to cast 2/day, in place of losing a lvl 9 spell for 1 point improvement on Mords. Or something like that. PLENTY of levels in the way before I'd even have to make a decision!

Re: Trying again: The Chronomancer
WTF?
I took my first Wizard level, and choose Abjuration as my School Specialization. Now, look at my Character Sheet:

So it says General, but I received the proper opposing school of Conjuration. Also, look at my Spellbook. With a 16 INT and Spellcasting Prodigy Feat (effective 18 INT), I receive should receive 3 spells of Level 1 (with School Focusing), which seems right in my Spellbook.
So what is the issue with the Character Sheet not reflecting a school focus properly?

Re: Trying again: The Chronomancer
Did you use the same character name as before the RCR, without any change?
I think there's something finicky about that, in the server files. I THINK that when I first RCR'ed to a specialization that I had the Generalist problem? It's been awhile but I kind of remember getting something like that, since I had RCR'ed from something that had Generalist the first time. But after another RCR it and it worked. I might have changed name when I did it, which might have been the issue.
So, try adjusting the name? Removing/adding a surname when you do the RCR.

Re: Trying again: The Chronomancer
I used a new name! Well, I used the same first name, but added a Surname...which should create a unique .bic.
But what is strange is that is seems to grant me the bonus spells per level.

Re: Trying again: The Chronomancer
On another note: DCs for Abjuration—and taking the School Focus Feat for Abjuration—seems to ACTUALLY have merit, with a number of Custom Spells made for BGTSCC:

If it's granting you the extra spells then it sounds like it's working right, just the icon is bugging.
Good point about the new spells and abjuration DCs. I haven't picked those ones up yet.
