Blackguard and Assassin (And Pious Templar) Caster Level

Aye, its always a matter of perspective.

Its true, the casterlevel increasing classes are mainly evil (Shadow Adept, Blood Mage) while the two others are open to all (arch mage, hierophant). Perhaps in the future we get some sort of exalted caster to counter this.

On the melee side, perhaps it would be better to abandon blackguard and introduce Paladin of Tyranny. This would solve the CL difference of both classes.

It should also be noted that blackguards need a decent base WIS as well since they can't use extra spell slot items and WIS items are not taken into account when calculating bonus spells. So if you were to go the EDM route you'd be spread pretty thin - unless you were an angeldude snowflake ofc. The concern about giving them 30 CL is pretty baseless

Any news about this? I really want to go all 10 levels of blackguard, but see no big draw. Like the CL30 idea at level 10 so the could make use of the spells. Don't mind the SA dice.

Would love to see it get feint feat at level 9/10 since it's charisma based and change hide prereq to 5 bluff. But sure you guys could come up with something better.
