Again, Oaken Friend doesn't work. If spellpower doesn't improve DC either, then this is a fairly pointless class for a druid.
Blast Infidel works on only one spell and you lose your animal companions levels if you don't take the Animal Companion Feat.
This isn't looking like it was a good decision.

I don't generally use the companion, so, I am a little biased there. I always grinded in a group, so my buffs were saved for other PCs. For soloing, with 12 druid, you can shapeshift to great effect.
If it was working properly, it'd be good. Its heavily bugged though, aye.

The spellpower does improve the DCs

There is no right or wrong choice. It all depends on how you like to play. Personally i would get the Animal Companion feat instead of the Blast infidel

Anyone know how the Inscribe Rune feat works? Trying to find a plausible replacement for Oak Friend.
Is it essentially a cheaper scribe scroll?

From reading the description of the special ability it would seem that the Inscribe rune feat would be a limited but cheaper version of scribe scroll. Anyone else verify that?
Mrm3ntalist, or anyone who can answer, are you saying Hierophant has a special ability that allows a druid to add their class levels to the druids animal companion?
There is no mention of this in the class description.
If this is accurate do you think this special ability would work with the Natural Bond feat?

Yes they have. It is a hierophant feat and allows the hierophant levels to progress the animal companion.

The cost is: CasterLevel * SpellLevel * 10.
Pretty much, you place the Inscribe Rune feat on your hotbar, and toggle it on/off to use.
Toggle it On, and you'll be asked in a GUI to set the Caster Level for the spell (which cannot be higher than your PC's actual CL). Select Okay or whatever.
Then, using a memorized spell, cast it. A rune should appear in your inventory (and a Combat Log return will confirm how many slots you have left).
This Rune can be placed on your Hotbar, but cannot be dropped or traded (which I think is bogus, but whatever...I haven't written up my response to this yet to submit for review).
Then, Turn Off the Feat on the Hotbar. Else...next time your cast, you'll make another Rune!!!

So a Harm rune on a Druid would be 910 gold (13x7x10?), use up one of your rune slots and can't be traded in any way.
Do the Blast Infidel or Faith Healing abilities effect these runes? If not I'm not feeling like it is worth it.
Wouldn't mind reserve feats being added to those metamagic choices at this rate, or maybe even the existing druid feats instead.

Good question! I haven't actually tried Inscribing a rune with a metamagic feat or a Hiero feat, because my toon is broke.
But I seriously doubt it works.
However, don't pass up Inscribe Rune just yet. because you can load yourself with 9 high CL spells more than a typical build (of equal Ability bonus mod).
But it'll cost ya!

The scribe scroll feat allows the same but at a higher price though doesn't it? With no upper limit to the number you can have or remove your ability to trade those scrolls.
With the one good druid ability not working and the other only increasing DCs on low level and low effectiveness spells, a druid could easily get by with only 4 levels of this class for +2 spellpower and take the non-epic animal companion feat. At that point you're just better off taking Hospitalier by itself though for the bonus epic feats in place of the +2 spellpower.
I just feel this class really is a cleric prestige as it stands, rather than the inclusively divine prestige it presents itself to be in the description.

Yes, this PrC was designed so that Karond could build the most bad arse Cleric ever seen!!! Lol. *fist bumps K*
Jokes aside, it's not like Druids need any perks, and the ease of which Hierophant allows forgetting 32+ CL is not to dismiss.
Unless something has changed, scribed scrolls have a max CL of 15. Runes do not!!

BG Hierophant is much kinder on divine spellcasters than its PnP variant, though.
In PnP, a Cleric 13/Hierophant 10 would have only 2x 7th level spells (+wis mod, if applicable), albeit with a caster level of 23 + Spell Power feats (if any). Hierophant is supposed to progress Caster Level but not Spells Per Day, so that's a bonus with the BGTSCC variant.

The pnp variant also gains an ability at every level if I recall correctly.

This statement can be made for clerics as well. They also have objectively more effective and varied builds due to spell selection, domains and prestige classes. I was simply hoping this class might prove to be interesting enough to add alternative builds for druid.
The pure druid dragonshape has been described in several threads as being one of the very best builds you can make. If you are not interested in shape shifting like me, you look for other ways to build a good character that continues your druids theme. The effectiveness or not of 32 CL will not be apparent until level 30, so the high entry requirements and limited effectiveness of class abilities for druids does hurt when not focusing on shape shifting.
Again, without a fix/buff to the druid themed class abilities Hospitalier seems the better option. Epic feats, AB, class abilities and far easier to fit into any build make it a better choice for a druid build.

No-no-no, it was actually made to shut up all those 'caster-clerics' moaning, and moaning, and moaning, for ever new domains and spells, and it worked!
But jokes aside...
It is a good PRC, and even without Blood Magic, a Spirit Shaman/Blackguard/Heirophant throwing those harms while under high charisma Divine Shield is going to be nasty...
