So drow are allowed to shop there ?Surfacers shop at mist lake so as long as it's ooc we can shop there ?

The difference is that the Epic shop in Hell at the time was the sole place for purchasing better epic items. And that favored one alignment specificly that would have no issue going there. Even if bought from merchants, why would you give money to a trader who consorts with fiends on a daily basis for coin?

How would you know he consorts with devils? That is unless you're metagaming.

Going to the Hells in general is very metagamey, and return visits being even more so.

Why metagame that when you can take the quest from Bae'l, Kill the Baron, then use the portal to go back to the surface. Seriously, it's like none of you even go there.

No, I have yet to see the Avernus map(s) and have no Toon that has shopped at the Epic Merchant.

The whole Hell/Epic Merchant is, in my humble opinion, ruining plausibility and playability of RP and "epic-ness" of our Characters.

I mean, even M3nt said, and I paraphrase: "Just cast Ethereal and tiptoe through hell to get to the merchant, if you want." Total OOC everything.

Literally, a merchant CONSTANTLY AVAILABLE in the Hells with CONSTANTLY AND UNLIMITED wares is such OOC business that in the end, contributes to a cheaper experience of RP on this Server.

And, that any Character(s) taking the H-Train regularly in order to subvert the reality and RP of going TO THE FRICKIN' HELLZ, is part of a meta-aspect of Role-play.

And I as a Player would be embarrassed contribute to this, by doing it, without DM or Campaign storyline setup.
