What that means is going beyond CL 30 or bringing your CL up high enough to reach another DC point.
After getting to 20, every 3 levels raises the DC of your spell by 1. This is why on the builder you see a +3 for epic caster at a CL of 29-31.
So if you have a CL 28 on your caster... and you get spellpower +1... that gives you a CL29 and +1 DC because you hit 29.Hidden: show

This was very helpful indeed! Shadow adept mentions gaining CL and possibly DC and now I finally understand how and why.
So in theory if I'd gain Shadow Adept to get my CL up by 3 I'd get to 33 CL gaining me +2 DC for enchantment/illusion/Necromancy and with 2 more spellpower from AM I could get to 35 CL for another +1 DC.
Hey Steve good point with the CL 30 although with only wizard/ek/AM/SA/ASoC in whatever combination my CL would be 30 anyways.
Mmh the new information kinda wants me to go AM AND SA opposed to either or... But losing out on ASoC feels bad too... EK is a flavor pick because I want my character to be able to fight since all drow should be somewhat capable at that...
