"Alright my. . . rather large friend. The shield is yours!"

Looking over to the orange man he gives a small nod before looking about for more customers.

Nadezhda, a short woman in a purple cloak and hood, arrives. "'Ello, love. 'Ere's 10,000gp for that ring of strength an' the gods 'elp any fool who dares to outbid me, for he'll be quick to meet 'em."

After being seemingly lost in his own thoughts for some time, Finn looks the woman over with an appraising eye.

"You're offer is a bit low for such a fine piece, miss. However, I am apt to give you a discount for my own ill response. Such a ring would normally fetch between 20 and 30 bags, what say you to fifteen?"

Finn stifles a chuckle, placing his hand in front of his mouth to hide a smile. After a brief moment to compose himself and answer with a straight face he speaks to the woman.

"Then we are agreed and here is your ring miss."

The woman drops a bag of gold into his hands nonchalantly and, with nimble movements, takes the ring from him and makes it disappear into a pocket.

The enchantment'd better not be one o' those funny ones that fade with use, or I'll come back to ya an' then we'll 'ave a different kinda talk, ya know what I mean, sunshine?
