Vala was so excited about her newfound book that she clutched it tight to herself. It was hard for her to contain her excitement as she hurried up the pathway to Candlekeep. Her feeling of elation was the very one that almost had her flitting right past Scribe Edelgarde who sat outside the library. Having stopped her eager stride before she passed her altogether, Vala started up a conversation with the well-polished Scribe. After showing the book to the tiefling, spells were cast, dwoemer magicks that Vala still works to comprehend.

Effects though seem to remain uncovered by the magicks causing Vala's confusion to increase and yet an increased curiousness in the book. It was agreed that Scribe Edelgarde would borrow the book, make a copy of it, and look into the archives (as Vala calls them) to see if there are any mentions in the history books that might make some truth to the journal.

It was agreed to meet in a ten-day to try some other magicks to reveal the supposed enchanted imprint that seemed indecipherable.
The peach-blonde lady leaves Candlekeep, her mind whirling with what it could all mean.



Is the curse real? I mean... never-ending supply of sharks... Blood waters?
Who is this Captain Shrive Drungenshell? Is he still reeking havoc in the world?
Had Captain Sharklance found him? Would he be able to return to the life of a fisher if he had confronted Drungenshell?
Was it all just a tale, a lesson in revenge and becoming what you hunt?
So many possibilities and yet not one of them capable of being answered....
