Sadly one can still not deposite items, also after the update. The inventories of my toons get even fuller, which can become an issue for toons with low STR.^^
Is there anything new, when the storage will completely work again?

Just to double check.
If I remake a character with the same name, do not add any disguise and what not my storage should remain intact?
If by any chance my storage will be deleted, is it possible to be restored or is everything in that case gone?

You'll be able to saves your storage. Even if you no longer have a character with the name you'll be able to access the storage by using disguise.

It is not deleted. If you access your storage from the same account, with a character with the same name, the items will be there.
