I need a poem about a fairy that brings gold to people who write poems.
Oh, sorry, I mean I have a friend who needs such a poem.

Flasmix wrote:A poem of a priest telling a man named Bosric of the importance of chastity until marriage.
A story about marriage
Bosric, my man,
Let me tell you this now.
Please keep if you can,
Your complete chastity until the vow.
For the vow of marriage,
Is a very sacred thing.
Give your lady a carriage,
But don't give her a swing.
Now I have heard,
And this might not be true.
That you lose your beard,
And you wouldn't want that, would you?!
For a real man of class,
Will wait till the vow.
He will wait for the mood to pass,
And will not bring his plow.
For I also heard from a friend,
And this might make you scoff.
That if you break chastity it'll be the end,
And your thing might fall off ...
So my friend, believe me when I say,
I tell this for your own good.
No matter how pretty, do not fall prey,
Or you might end up with your own brood...
That's one!

Half the community
This is a story about you and me and him,
And I'm going to write this one a whim.
It's about half of us all,
And it's about our common pitfall.
For just when we think, "this is so cool!",
We just one second later think, "I'm such a fool!".
Then we begin again, and make a new toon,
And with just the idea, we think we'll start soon.
But then we wake up, a month after the plan,
And then we start wondering, when this began?
Didn't we have all these cool toons?
All with their gripes, and all with their boons?
And as time passes on, and the toon's plan is forgotten,
We start this anew, with new plans begotten.
And so our life goes, endlessly on.
Not a toon ever finished, yet our time is still gone...
So sad ...

Fairy gold
Special limerick version
A story of a legend was told,
Of a fairy so wise and so old,
When a poem is written,
And the fairy is smitten,
You will be showered with gold.
But the fairy does not like my stories,
Even though I tell of all of her glories,
Maybe it is my smell,
But my poems don't sell,
Perhaps I'm in the wrong categories.
Short and sweet
And a free Haiku, 'cause I was in the mood.
The goblin told us,
I'm prettier than those gnomes,
But we don't trust him.

How about a Poem giving the story of Drake Nair? You played him for what? 3 years? Can be either the OOC story, including dozens of RCRs

or IC story, your choice!

I'd like one where santa opens a gate through the fourth wall and enlists elves with reduce person to do charity RP around Baldur's Gate.

sad orcs that are mules for elves and gnomes that never get invited to the bake sales and dance parties. only game time is spent in the nexus.

Though he already has his
songbook, of which the first is based on IC events, I'll give you a new one as well.
Drake Naïr
Pointy ears and attitude to match,
Snide remarks are never to far to fetch.
A laugh and a joke and often found in the bar,
Though in the end, he never really got very far.
A bard or a rogue, he morphed more than a druid,
I guess you could say he was quite class-fluid.
Never sticking longer with himself than a month or two,
I think that the RCR was something he was destined to do.
It took a year or three to find out who he was,
When in the end it was always just a single class.
A bard he was, from heart and soul,
To make many riches, was always his goal.
A coward at heart, though secretly so,
He'd rather hide away, than fight with a foe.
In the end, he didn't get famous or influential,
But at least he's remembered by some of you all...
But he's not dead (yet)

Santa Clause is coming to town
It was the 20th of December,
And we were behind on plan.
The elves are all working,
As hard as they can.
But we just won't make it,
We need a bigger span.
But where will I ever find,
The workforce that I need?
We just don't have the amount of people,
To reach the right amount of speed.
But we've got more than enough gingerbread,
To fill every mouth to feed.
But wait, I know,
From the days of old.
The stories of D&D,
Of goblin and kobold.
And stories of humans,
And elves were told.
That's where I'll find my workforce,
I'll just enter through the server.
Go to the city of Baldur's Gate,
As people talk about it with great fervor.
I'll just go over there,
And it won't be as an observer.
I'll join there as a mage,
A mage of great renown.
And I'll shrink every amazed elf,
With only a very tiny frown.
I'll make them all so tiny,
I'll take entire Doron Amar down.
And then, when all elves are shrunk,
I take them back to my workplace.
They'll be rightly sized,
And won't take up too much space.
They'll finish up all their work,
And hopefully save my face.
And when all is said,
And all work is done...
I'll send those bloody fake elves,
Back to the Gate, so they'll be gone!
For in this world there are not many kinds of elves,
There is only one ....
Santa's Little Helpers.

The mules
They give us odd names,
Like Ferris Mueller or Banksy.
They only use us because we're strong,
And they just can't be.
Those puny elves,
And gnomes and halflings.
Not strong enough,
To carry their own damn things.
For always condemned,
to the OOC Nexus.
Their utter lack of care,
Every day perplex us.
We're never invited,
To parties or sales.
But are always welcome,
To carry their plate mails!
If only just once,
The mules would all rise.
We'd conquer the Gate,
And all races we despise.
We'd take over the world,
And in all cities break through.
Then they'll finally see,
That orc lives matter too!

Zanniej my dear, it's truly quite clear.
That you have a gift, which brings so much cheer.
It does make me smile, to see requests pile for a mile.
Of wish for your gift, and love for your style.
You're a blessing to us all, who never does stall.
Lyrics dance in harmony, like dancers at a ball.
Who works hard and does well.
From these praises... I can tell.
Please know we appreciate you do,
For not only poems, but your forumwork too!
Never forget you are great, that no praise should come too late... and that we truly appreciate you..
is no debate.
#keepitup ^_^

Merry new year! (a reference to Eddie Murphy's scene in Trading Places)
Another year over and a new one in sight,
Let's do our best to make it better,
And work towards it with all our might,
By following our resolutions to the letter.
Let's hit the gym and get the shape we want,
And eat healthy and cook a nice meal a day.
We'll eat a healthy salad instead of croissant,
And we'll get in a shape that's there to stay.
All of January we'll work so hard,
And never will we think of quitting.
Just so in June we will look the part,
With our old clothes once again fitting.
Except maybe in February when laziness has come back,
And hunger for junk has once again set in.
And we'll be right back on our December track,
There goes the brand new begin!
But it matters not for resolutions aren't all that,
And being excellent to each other matters way more.
So make sure you're nice to another and don't call them a ....,
Treat each other well is what I wish to implore.
In the end we've got to make due,
So eat and drink things you will savor.
Take care of those around you,
And may the forums be ever in your favor.
