Seemingly not able to catch the shopkeeper's attention with his words, the elven male would take a step forward, raising his voice "Excuse me, good sire, there is a bargain I wish to offer if you would mind giving me a moment of your time."

(A human with an eye patch stops by)

Is that magic resisting tower shield still available? If so, what's your price?

A hulking man walks up to the stall to peruse the wears. Feeling out of place he notices a particular ring that catches his eyes. He exclaims:

Hey tiny peddler, I found des gloves while out in da hunt. Ye want them for dat der ring? *pointing to the Paladin ring*

The merchant would reply to each inquiry, apologising for his delay in doing so.

In response to the Elven Male: "Which product in particular would that be, and which bargain, please whisper if you do not wish others to hear"

He speaks briefly to the man in Brown, smelling of mahogony: "That is indeed a rare item, I would perhaps be seeking something to trade for it instead, or atleast a solid offer none the less"

Furthermore he enquires with the eye-patched man: "The shield is one of a kind, I am told, passed down centuries by Dwarven heroes, the offer of coin would have to be substantial for my master to accept, or a item of similiar worth for him to consider."

Lastly, the merchant would turn to Hulking man and responds in a simple term: "No."

Having caught the shopkeepers attention he would let a slim finger rise to point at a pair of boots put on display, his voice lowering to normal conversational volume once more. "I was wondering if you would let me part with this wondrous pair for a bargain of coin. Would and offer of..." He would pause for a brief moment to ponder the price. "...800 bags be to your satisfaction?" He would let an eyebrow arch as he poses the question, his one ebony eye set on the merchant.

The Merchant would consider for a moment..

"I fear we are looking for a lot more coin or... some item to trade of similiar or signinifant value"

"More coin you say..." He would take a moment of pause, clearly a little set back at the prospect. After letting his one ebony eye graze the fine boots one more time, he would wet his dry lips. "Then how about I double my initial bid?" His one eye would rise to meet the merchants once more, a thin smile now painted across his features.

A heavily bandage man would walk up towards the merchant after it was somewhat clear of others. After several moments of looking at the items he would stop at a belt and look towards the merchant.

How... about 400 bags of gold... for that... belt?

The merchant would finally pay the man who just doubled the bid some attention, a slight smile as he would raise his hand up just a tiny fraction.

"If you can go up another four hundred thousand, call it two million, then we have a deal"

He would then turn to the bandaged newcomer who was offering a bid on the belt, simply shake his head and utter one word.

"No"

The merchant would also inform those around some new items had gone up for sale.

drops of blood fall out of his mouth into his bandages as he nods slowly How about... a million gold... then?

"You drive a hard bargain, but for the wares you offer I suppose they be fair." He would let his single ebon eye stare at the merchant for a brief moment, seemingly making up his mind about the negotiation. "Very well, two million gold pieces it is! They are a most exquisite pair after all, and I could never stand letting another leave with such marvels now that my eye has beheld their beauty in full."

The merchant would note down the sale and pass a note to the man as he went back to continue hawking his other wares, ensuring to cross out the pair of boots.
