The Firewalker decides to one up Moire on her Laurel Crown bid by thirty thousand gold.

"So here we are. The girdle is ready to be picked up, while the crown is lingering a bit more. "
Chen removes the belt from the table to pack it in a cloth and puts it inside the tent.

Moire raises her bid to 120 bags for the Laurel Crown.

Another thirty thousand is offered on top of Moire's bid by the Firewalker.

Moire was leaning against the frame of the shop, her arms casually crossed. She seemed to pensively stare a moment at the Laurel Crown before she pushed herself off the wood and shrugged once.

"I suppose I could continue this, just for the love of the sport. But a business must be run at a profit, else it will die." The petite Sun elf female started to turn away, but not before offering the Firewalker one final look.

"And I wouldn't want to be compared with lets say people who pursue pleasure with breathless haste. Once upon a time returning trophyless appears much more manageable than that." The sophisticated business lady winked and walked off like as if she had just left a stage.

Two items have been traded with the Firewalker of Kossuth for both sides satisfyingly. The next day, Chen brings a large bag from his mule : "I sometimes have new items of interest, come have a look."

Chen smiles at the sun elf : "My, sir, this is a very low bid." He looks at him intriguingly, then says : "I'd like to know your name and where you come from to make such a bid. But then, I make you this deal. We'll wait, instead of two days, one week to see if someone else wishes to bid higher, if not, you can get this armor for your offer."

*the elf looks to the merchant with a smile and nods* fair enough. My name Thorne, and I hail from this area, within the city of Baldurs Gate. but I have been away for quite some time, I have just recently arrived back in the city and have done minor jobs and adventuring since my return *looks up and smiles* it is the life. as for the offer, well, that's about all the gold I have to offer now. and I figure it was worth a shot...worse thing you could say is no. * half smiles*

Moire peeks over, slightly interested. "I'll give you 40 bags for that armor." She motions with one casual swing of her hand at the mithral full plate.

*frowns and eyes the new bidder* convenient that you come along on the 7th day. I will not start a bidding war, I will see if the merchant honors his original agreement. *looks to chen*
