I’m back at the barracks. And I feel at home. Now that my past is clearer. It’s time to focus on the future. I have to get my act together if I am to be;

Sargent at Arms, Nigel Blaquehawke Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart…

The Gang’s all here…

Warden Boots is back from her journey back to Comyr. I guess there are benefits of having a retired Elven Wizard for a mother. I was able to cross leagues on land at a heart beat.

The Grand Knight is also busy with the maters at the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart and we stand as always a beacon of hope and righteousness in a world of moral compromise.

Back to Patrols back to winning the Hearts and Mind of the good gods fearing folks of the Sword Coast.

In the past week operational pace picked up. This week Radiant Heart members and allies dealth blows to the Bhaalist Gnolls and the Brood Mothers who had aligned themselves with the Demon Prince Orkus. It was great to fight alongside some of the best this realm has to offer. Regrettably we also fought besides some of the most vile and wicked beings in this realm.

Men of violence and little consequence like Hanner Blackrose, who surprised me by rescuing the lives of civilians. A man can be so bathed in blood that his ledger will never be balanced. But said man can live to a code. I can understand that but the man is a menace to peace and prosperity. A dangerous being now a rogue agent not bound to any house or faction.

Going on unconventional mission with the Warden Boots and Hanner was also interesting. Sneaking around being so close to many living and undead foes was kinda nerve rattling. Sure picked a helluva time to quit drinking. The Warden seemed as cool as a Comyrian mountain stream through it all. Centuries of experience and training really showed how much I have to learn and progress. As did Hanner but I guess when death is all Hanner Blackrose knows it’s where he’s most at home.

A shining light has been Avery, how much she has grow from the skidding bumbling lass to a battle field Cleric. Oi specially against that Dracolich at the Fields of the dead. With Blake at her side I don’t think there isn’t much the couple can’t do.

Times are changing and I am fine with it all.

I am here prepping uniforms for the squiring ceremony coming soon. I am happy about this one. Not only are we getting in two new squires. But more of the pot & pan boys to make a whole lotta bloody noice so is Radiant Scout can go forth and perform our duties as commanded by the Grand Knight.

Blake Hightower, my stoic battle brother is finally completed his redemption path and now thank the gods has risen above his dark and traumatic past and has decided to join some of the best blokes in the Sword Coast. With the uncertainly that tomorrow brings and the gathering of our enemies all around us.

Next is Al, a gnome with a love and wonder for life that just serves to remind us of how bloody blessed we are to be here serving the people of the sword coast. He one day will make a great Knight himself perhaps even a great Grand Knight himself.
