I guess if my application goes through, adding some of these weapons might be a good way to familiarize myself with that part of the toolset, provided it gets greenlit...

Or you could always apply and do it yourself! :)

Adding everything to a vendor is not a lot of work (unless Im mistaken) and gives equal possibility for any weapon pick.
Dont think it'l break balance either (if it stays +3 or +2 EB along with the +2 VR - depends what the balance-sages say)

This is finesseable.

Can it? I'm not sure if small flails can be finessed. They're not native NWN2 items.

Shortspears are "tiny", and cannot be finessed.

There's many small weapons that aren't finessable and I think that is one of them.

Yeah, nevermind. Just tested, and they do indeed not work with finesse.

I seemed to recall that they were basically a copy of short swords, and thus should have worked. Alas, 'tis not so.

A DM ruling doesn't mean a player cannot choose to follow a higher standard. And a DM ruling doesn't mean that a Paladin character of mine would not frown upon someone casting Vampiric Touch, as yet another example.

Paladin can frown upon many things that are considered normal to others. But, being a wise person, they also have to know that this spell doesn't draw from negative planes (if they even know that spell in particular) thus it stays their own preference rather than "RP standard". Staying consistent to server lore which doesn't find vamp regen something evil, means Server representation of world says Vamp regen is no evil, it's yet another useful enchantment that paladins can like or not from their personal opinion, but not taught to be suspicious to by their Church or whatever mentor they had.

No, no. You see to have high standard paladin RP, you have to consider Healing Sting to be evil. Frown on those druids, paladin! Frown on them!

Yes, that is right, Druids should be frowned upon, and it doesn't even stop there. They are not polite members of the society, they do not contribute in any of its functions, they disregard property rights and all letters of law, they live as vagabonds dressed in mere hides, and often with something they call as 'animal companions' -- and they spout all manner of pseudo intellectual nonsense about "muh balance" to wreak nothing but harm and destruction upon the innocent peasants that just need to cut down a tree to have enough firewood for their meals, fields, and houses. These foul individuals would probably even go as far as prevent one of lordly persuasion from hunting a pheasant, a pheasant! Truly, I can hardly tell them apart from savage orcs!

Le sigh, what a great character a pointless complaint has yeeted off this server.

But as for other potential sickles or scythes even:

Sickle or Scythe of the Four Seasons

+4 Enchantment Bonus
+1 Cold (Winter)
+1 Electrical (Spring)
+1 Fire (Summer)
+1 Acid (Autumn)

With Sickles and Scythes of individual seasons; Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn:
+4 Enchantment Bonus
+1d6 (Appropriate elemental Damage)

With appropriate fluff related to the season or passage of an entire year. Could be all sourced from a same craftsman or region. Perhaps some clergy of Chauntea, somewhere?

But anyhow, a Vampiric Sickle should be some kind of ritual sacrifice tool in its item description.
