There will be no update until someone who suffers the crash sends us crash dumps in order to analyse it.

Any updates?

I am still finding myself crashing as a shifter from Epic Elemental shapes... straight after logging in, being on the server for a while, not using CE, using CE... it's all the same.

About 90% of the time, it is CTD. I dont see any dumpfiles in my folders. But anyone can just do a level whatever shifter with the right epic feat.

I did not have this problem prior to my last surgery back in May-ish of this year. But being immune to critical hits is nice. Otherwise I would just spec out of it.

Confirmed on my shifter yesterday. Epic elmenetal shape shifting is not only crashing me but others around me/in the party. Happened in multiple zones both in and out of dungeons.

Downloaded an update, but still crashing when Epic Elemental / Legendary animal is used.

Any estimation on attempted fix for this?

No, we have zero understanding of what is causing it, as it came out of nowhere. From some testing we've done we have failed to replicate crashing while solo, only while in groups.

I just logged in and did it outside FAI and went Elder Water Elemental and boom, crash.

That is odd it cannot be replicated solo.

I even tried on a fresh install of the game on my other computer.

Just tried it on FAI, in case the map made a difference. No effect.

There's some kind of... secret sauce, so to speak, that nobody on staff seems to have figured out yet (or if they have, I haven't noticed them discussing it). If we're lucky, it'll be machine-agnostic... but so far it's certainly not been happening on my machine. (Not that it matters, since I have no idea what I could even do to try to fix it... it's almost certainly outside my specialization.)

Could you give us your build and what buffs you use alongside it?

I tested fire elemental shape in BG and at FAI. No crash. The moment I stepped into a map with enemies (Way of the Lion) it crashed upon shifting.

Edit: No buffs were used.

No buffs.

Have Epic Elemental Shape on main hotbar.

I click the feat and select the shape and then I CTD. Any map, Anywhere, 95% of the time.

Maybe it makes a difference, but Shifter/Druid 20/5.

Hello guys, Is there anything unique you are using in your character gear as well? Anything that's not just for enhancing stats?

We are still conducting testing and experiments, but struggle to replicate it in the same manners that you are able to.

Also, does this only occur to you on certain maps/areas? I know one mentioned only when enemies are about, but in party we're able to replicate it even in a town setting as long as it's in party. Solo does not seem to affect the others during testing at this point still.

Tomorrow I can try epic elemental shape nekkid and dress up incremental.

Again, I have crashed solo, in hostile areas, not hostile area, and around other people.

Using shapeshift, polymorph, wildshape and shifter shape works correctly every time.

Epic elemental and legendary animal causes CTD most of the time. Both are the only epic feats.
