Travelers along the Lions way in mid bright day bore witness to a strange occurrence. Three Consecutive thunder claps broke the trade ways peace. No sight of rain, clouds or anything else.
My personal view is in red, for I am fancy.

//DM Spartacus returned. All plots back on. Clues will be dropped RP encouraged. Any questions, or requests for action please PM me.

Rumours persist of gangs of brigands gathering coming together for raids around Nashkel under the banner of Horde of Pol, fortunately Guilds, and other free companies have been on hand to take action.

Elsewhere deep in the Upperdark a small band of zealots, working under a banner - Knights of the White Order were attempting to clear out caves of evil doers. Though working in the cause of Lathander, they have no remit from those known organisations following that Deity. Their excessive behaviour and lack of clarity is a reminder of the Inquisition days.

The Hellriders have failed to solve the Dinner Date murders at Greenest, and others have been seen investigating.

The Twins remain a focus for violence.

Rumours about Druids huddling around stones awaiting the end of days persist. Elsewhere however they have been seen planting Oak trees so one wonders.

Polvich remains a focus for evil, but tales of titanic treasure troves travel.

Just another week on the Coast, what could go wrong.

The Horde of Pol, a loose gathering of bandits, rogues, and other evil individuals continue to operate along the Coast, inspired by greed but also a confidence that this is their time, a time of evil. The portents related to the Twins, and the rumours of the return of Polvich the Lich, and Efar the Drocolich appear to behind this bravado, and open highway robbery the like of which has not been seen for, well, at least a few weeks, maybe even months.

However all is not doom and gloom for there have been sightings of a new law maker in town in the form of the Knights of the White Order. They have been spotted along the Coast above and below ground testing individuals character and pursuing evil in all it's many shapes and forms. This order recently formed and loosely related to Lathander have drawn a zealous following from far and wide. The Temple at Beregost expressly denied any official involvement with this group of Knights.

The Hellriders have failed to solve the Dinner Date murders at Greenest, and others have been seen investigating. Notwithstanding this a third murder is reported, perhaps the assailants were disturbed, details are scant, maybe it linked to many Drow sightings and rumours of war.

The Twins remain a focus for violence. Undead sightings, Necromancers, Cultists, Knights of the White Order have been in action and have been recruiting along the Coast. The Horde of Pol gathers in strength striking all along the Coast now.

Druids have been more visible and active venturing into more mainstream gatherings. There purpose as diverse and hidden as ever.

Polvich remains a focus for evil, but tales of humongous hidden hordes hold heedfulness.

Large numbers of Hellriders have been diverted to Greenest to assist the town and the Fellowship of Ya'aestar committed to assisting the town. An imminent Drow raid has been cited as the reason. Though mostly only Orcs have been seen on the move there. However a more welcome sight was a patrol of The Order of the Silver Rose circling by the town.

The Horde of Pol have continued to raid and recruit along the Coast. Recently they have moved from Nashkel nearer to Candlekeep.

Druids have been more visible and active venturing into more mainstream gatherings. It seems someone has rattled their tree.

The Knights of the White Order have been seen challenging evil wherever they find it, though there efforts are dwarfed by the increased reports of Undead roaming the Coast.

Polvich remains a focus for evil, dedicated efforts to hunt his followers and even Polvich himself are rarely openly spoken of, but this bard is assured, they continue.

The presence of Hellriders at Greenest, and patrols from The Order of the Silver Rose appear to have changed any Drow plans for the moment. As the Mayor was proud to announce 'Greenest remains open for business.'

Little was seen during the period of the previously active Fellowship of Ya'aestar.

The Horde of Pol have continued to raid and recruit along the Coast. They clashed with the Knights of the White Order in a large scale skirmish on the Lions Way. The horde apparently displaced for the time being, they moved on to easier pickings. The Knights remained camped at the Lions Way.

Druids have been said to have been in meetings with elements from the White Order. Teris a Druid once popular around the Arms has been said to have gone into hiding recently. His place taken by other Druids seen around the Arms representing various branches of Druidic activity.

Reports of activity by the Cult of Polvich dropped off quite suddenly overnight leading to tales maybe they had found the Portal they had been looking for. Other more worrying news suggested they had been inundated with recruits.

The Twins continue to inspire dreams and extreme behaviour along the Coast. Indeed it is said they are the inspiration for both the Knights of the White Order and the Horde of Pol.

OOC

These plots continue, there have been some players absent or on a different gaming timetable than others. To allow catch up - things have stood still a little to allow stories to align.

Some things will spill out by next weekend likely, and this week there is some time for previous and current RP to travel as it may need to for things to develop.

If there is anything players specifically wish to address this next fortnight may be a good time to organise and PM the DM.

Greenest basks in the aroma of the camp fires of peace. Mercenary forces replace busy Hell Riders, and Orc and Drow sightings drop off, things seem to settle back to what passes for normal.

Little was seen during the period of the previously active Fellowship of Ya'aestar.

The Horde of Pol increase in numbers and there boldness develops new lows.

Knights of the White Order continue to grow in numbers striking at evil in all it's forms. Challenging the norm seeking better behaviour they show willing to investigate everything and everyone. They are inspired by the' twin' Pietr the Paladin of Lathander.

The Druid Teris surfaced from hiding briefly and was seen around the FAI around the time of an attack by Cultists of Polvich and a wave of Undead. Perhaps it was all too much but he vanished as quick as he emerged.

There was a report Polvich the Lich was seen too, that he has returned to the Coast after all these years, another that he had been destroyed.

Either way the Cult continues to grow in number and confidence. Inspired by Polvich they summon Undead and swarm along the Coast.

Guilds gathered their numbers and stood defiant in the face of this upsurge of violence. Exchanging stories, mustering information to decide their next steps.

The Twins continue to inspire dreams and extreme behaviour along the Coast. Indeed it is said they are the inspiration for both the Knights of the White Order and the Horde of Pol.

Oddly it was not Orcs or Drow that troubled Greenest but a horde of bandits. Small groups were spotted gathering. The town manned the walls but it was the small Hamlet of Clover to the south that stood to bear the brunt. No help could be spared but a single Druid went to their aid while a runner went for adventurers. They soon came, a warden of Ya'aestar, a Druid, both for personal reasons, others, heroes, Mercenaries for their own reasons. Too late though for Clover they arrived to find the hamlet raised, the population slain, the place stripped of all wealth. Hellriders arrived to hold the land the adventurers pursued the raiders catching one band in a gesture of defiance for the fallen.

Knights of the White Order continue to grow in numbers patrolling the roads along the Coast.
They even had patrols enter the Underdark to deter Drow.

A number of Free Companies gathered on the Lions Way apparently seeking Druids. By the look of some of them it was maybe fortunate no Druids were at their Grove.

Reports of Polvich the Lich persist, that he has returned to the Coast after all these years, another that he had been destroyed. His Cult grows in boldness, striking all along the Coast in seemingly random attacks. However they also specifically lured a paladin of Hoar deep into the sewers of Baldur's Gate intent upon his groups demise. But for a stray adventurer likely they would all have perished in that dark place unknown to the world. A cult member was caught in a follow up sweep by the City Guard.

Guilds responded with plans of their own, huddled and serious discussions took place along the Coast detailing responses.

In the aftermath of the fall of the village of Clover, Greenest and south to Clover has seen a flurry of activity. Hellriders have developed an uneasy cooperation with a Company from the Knights of the White Order, as both forces patrol, hunt down bandits, and stir up hidden nests of Orc and Drow.

Knights of the White Order brought a small group of robbers to swift justice after thye had captured books bound for Candlekeep. Adventurers assisted them in the recovery. The Knights moved off to the Uldoon Trail.

Druids have been involved in various actions around the Friendly Arms where they gather frequently.

Reports of Polvich the Lich persist, sightings far and wide suggest he is on the move or people have been making false reports. One of his followers awaits trial at Baldur's Gate.

The Horde appears to have been scattered this last few days, perhaps planning more raids.

MASSACRE AT SEA?

Rumors spread of some kind of massacre at sea, when a battle-ruined ship is hauled into Baldur's Gate's harbor, its crew nowhere to be found. Piracy is nothing new for the Sea of Swords, but those investigating the wreck are troubled by the untouched treasures of its hold. The attack is but one a few recent incidents that has sea-faring folk concerned, but so far the forces responsible are a mystery.

Such was also the case with the gentle shift in the shadows, at least in the very beginning.

As the tendays passed, the effects of one faithful's deed began to cumulate and grow in strength, just like waves tend to do, making itself known. Those whose existence is bound to the world of shadows, especially those devoted to the Lord of Shadows himself, noticed these peculiar phenomena happening to them or around them.

Strange Fog Rolls In

An odd, green fog rolls in from the sea, and along the river Chionthar.

It lingers only for a few hours, before dispersing in the wind, but it's cause is quickly the subject of a number of rumors.

Along the Uldoon Trail the Hunters of Vengeance and the Knights have been busy hunting down Orcs, Drow and indeed have driven down deep into the ground locating a nest of Illithids. A relative peace now prevails.

One or two Undead have been sighted around the FAI and some travellers are saying the Inn is haunted. Bentley was heard to quip indifferently 'Probably better than Dragons.'

Druids continue to be involved in various actions around the Friendly Arms where they gather frequently, trying to keep their business their own.

Reports of Polvich the Lich persist, sightings far and wide suggest he is on the move or people have been making false reports. One of his Cult is appearing soon trial at Baldur's Gate after an attack on Paladins in the sewers.

The Horde appears to be on the back foot gathering more sinister resources planning ever larger raids driven on it is said by dreams of Pol the Slayer. Some say they are waiting for a sign.

Candlekeep has been busy chasing lost books far and wide, bringing other rare tomes into care.

Guilds have been busy deep in research, the quiet before the winter storms, the false dawn, the penultimate act in a Darius brothers play.

//OOC Often There is a number of in game props/clues for my plots. These only remain as temporary features while server is up. To provide an indication of when such clues are in game there will also be present an NPC 'Sparty' at FAI, north of Mudd. IE if he is in game some plot clues will be also be present. (this may save you unnecessarily looking for things when they are not there ie no 'sparty' no clues)

Other clues are held with PCs and as persistent documents and designed to encourage RP
