Yeah, but I am speaking about ''Darkness'' spell not Light.
Darkness it's obviously a spell with ''darkness descriptor''...

Spell: Comprehend Languages
Version
Last experienced on newest version as of 06/05/2024
Severity
Moderate. The spell itself works, but its application through an arcane feat (Scribe Scroll) doesn't.
The issue
Comprehend Languages cannot be scribed into scrolls, even when it should, given that there are npc merchants selling scrolls of Comprehend Languages.
Steps to Reproduce
1) Create a Wizard.
2) Go to Sorcerous Sundries in BG.
3) Buy a Comprehend Languages scroll.
4) Learn the spell.
5) Buy blank scroll.
6) Prepare the spell and rest.
7) Try to inscribe the spell on the scroll.
8) Notice it does not stick to it.

Spell: Spiritual Weapon
For the last few months spiritual weapon doesn't work on my cleric - he succesfully casts the spell (according to log window) but no weapon actually spawns. Same on JEGs
P.S. : Also, please, fix the description, we physically can't have deity-less clerics

Fumble is fumbling. I picked it up on my sorcerer and tried it on the dirty, ring thieving bandits in BG sewers and it did nothing.
Edit: after some testing between me and another, it currently functions but only shows rolls made against the caster if they are in the AOE.

Fiery burst and I assume other spell feats like it cause damage to self and allies (since last update) I assume is unintentional.

Nope, working as intended. Campaign revision 1305 was included in last week's patch:
The other reserve feats have always had friendly fire, and the intention had been to add it to Fiery Burst when the reserve feats were revamped (around the time runes were deleted and Epic Reserves was introduced); it just got overlooked at the time.Fiery Burst now correctly has friendly fire.

Re: Spell bugs compilation list
Rose Wintertal's Firey Refrain only seems to do 1d4 damage after the recent updates.
It triggered with the correct damage once, and then continued to do 1d4 damage, even after recasting it

Re: Spell bugs compilation list
Hej there
I don't know if "it" is known, or new... or not. But "it" is not working? -> "True form" -spell. I tryed several times to "true form" Naer'eanque, trying to rip off her panther-fur. After 6 or 7 times of casting the spell, no change back from wildhshape to original Naer'. And there where nowhere to see "rolling a savingthrow" or similar in the chatlogs.
perhaps I did something wrong, but ... I hereby reportet a case

Re: Spell bugs compilation list
I have been told this is a known issue but I can't see it reported anywhere, so here goes:
Shapechange forms specifically seem to have a bug, where using Shift Shape to turn into one of the Shapechange forms doesn't "heal" my current HP to reflect current HP percentage before taking shape. My current HP stays the same number as before taking form but since my max HP is now higher this leaves me in injured status, then going back to original form reduces my current HP to match the form's HP percentage so it reduces my HP even lower. This results in a situation where I need to either keep healing between forms or I will eventually reduce all of my HP just by changing forms.
This issue does not appear on Polymorph forms, even if they have higher CON and higher HP max and doesn't seem to have anything to do with having CON item equipped as it appears whether or not it is on my character. It also persists through restarts as I have been seeing it for some time now.
Say my character has 248/248 HP, then I take on Fire Giant form, once the form changes my HP is now 248/368. Then I change to original form, my HP is now 169/248, then I turn to fire giant again HP is 169/368 and when I turn to original form again HP is 113/248...

Another one:
Polymorph isn't accounting for Shield AC from spells (tested with Deeze's Repulsive Shadow Barrier and Shades self cast), the spell grants character +4 ac, it even grants Shapechange forms +4 AC, but it grants no AC to Polymorph forms. Other forms of spell AC seem to work correctly.

Re: Spell bugs compilation list
Now also broken for polymorph in the same way. Previously this worked correctly but after the server troubles on 11/11 polymorph forms are also not returning HP to % before shapeshifting but are when returning to original form.DiceyCZ wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 2:22 am I have been told this is a known issue but I can't see it reported anywhere, so here goes:

Spell: Cascading Plague (Druid) 6
School: Necromancy
Issue: Spell can not be cast by good-aligned druid of good-aligned deity, as deity will block the casting due to it being an "evil" spell, but the spell is not marked as such, and should be no more evil than a spell such as "Infestation of Maggots" which is able to be cast with no issues.
Severity: Medium/High; Spell is currently unusable with alignment restriction, but there is no reason I can see as to why. As the spell lacks the "Evil" tag in it's description, deity involvement shouldn't be an issue alignment-wise.

Re: Spell bugs compilation list
The spell Melf's Minute Meteors does not have the intended damage. According to spell description it's supposed to do 1d4+3 fire damage. However it's handled as enchantment Bonus dmg fire 1d4 and bonus damage fire 3 together with No Damage attribute. This causes the created item to cause only 3 fire damage because it deals no basic weapon damage and two damage enchantments of same type do not stack. If the meteors are meant to deal energy damage I would propose them to be changed to Bonus Damage Magic 1d4 and Bonus Damage fire 3, or remove the no damage attribute and the 1d4 fire bonus.

Spell Acid Fog completely ignores Archmage's High Arcana: Mastery of Shaping and whether it's on or not always damages allies, neutrals and caster.
