Rumours as it that the "famous" crazy gnome Tinsle Tinklebottom is finaly in jail after playing too many "pranks" on people.

Targetting the Fist was probably a bad idea.
- "When will we have a psychiatric ward for this kind of people!?"
Rupert asked himself while locking the cell behind him...

Rumors are that a dark clothed man had been seen taking care of some last and final business before leaving Baldur's Gate tightly rapping his scarf and hood around his face in order to ward of the cold bite of the winter winds as he heads up the Mountains, dropping behind him an amulet engraved with the holy symbol of Eldath, and a tear in his eye wondering if in the future he may some day come back to claim what he left behind. . .

(((( Not going to be on soon, RL calls, soo for about the next two months i am going to be gone >_> all though I am not leaving right now I will be soon. I will hopefully pick up dusty where i left him.))))

An exotic boat docked briefly in Baldur's Gate, quickly unloading a small party before slipping the mooring and heading back out to sea. The passengers are greeted by some sort of official and quickly whisked out of sight.

The low, fast, and graceful lines are said to be unmistakably elven... though even the oldest dockhands and fishermen are forced to admit that none of them living have seen such a craft.

A rather well-dressed hin moved quickly through the streets of Baldur's Gate. Periodically looking over his shoulder, he bumps into many passersby. When he seems to notice his rudeness, he stares at the accosted person and mumbles something about demons near the bandit caves then quickly moves on...

*the red garbed half of the -yrrha twins quietly makes the rounds of the inns and taverns, spreading word that she and her sister are seeking a tutor in the bardic arts. She leaves The Blade and Stars as a place to leave a message, or for potential teachers to seek them out at the bridge camp*

Word spreads throughout the Western Heartlands that a joyous reunion took place upon the Trade Way between Sir Jonas Rokranon and a petite, blonde-haired woman introduced as Selis Vhaire.

People who have lived in the area for quite some time would recall that the name belongs to the woman who constructed the White Mask Theater and founded The Performers Guild, published The Baldur's Gate Gazette, and worked for the Nashkel Trade Emporium. Her failure to return to Baldur's Gate after she and long-time beau Zein Milu left on their honeymoon was the subject of much speculation, but passersby have attested that they heard Miss Vhaire speak of her husband's tragic death and her inability to live in the place where the couple had shared so many memories.

However, now that much time has passed, it would appear that Miss Vhaire has returned to Baldur's Gate. An excited conversation overheard between the woman and a fellow performer suggests that Miss Vhaire will soon resume some of her work in the city.

Word spreads quickly of a fight between two tieflings at the merchant campfire near the bridge to Baldur's Gate. One in red armor and another wearing none, but wielding a bow that shot green bolts of energy and not arrows.

However, nobody died, the bow-user running, as the red-wearing tiefling lay almost dead, noise of the Fist arriving having been heard.

Many people saw the Weavemaster's Exarch exiting Istari Tower with three immense bags in tow. Many speculate that the bags must have contained food, as he delivered them directly to Ilmater's temple.

Word begins to circulate that the Performers Guild is planning an extravagant grand re-opening of The White Mask Theater. It is said that a masquerade will be held in the theater as well as some sort of special, interactive performance.

No exact date has yet been set, but Miss Vhaire herself has been overheard saying that she hopes to host the celebration "within the next cycle of the moon".

An organisation is said to be rising in the south in Amn and expanding north towards Baldur's Gate. Led by a masked lord suffering from some sort of affliction that rots the body. It's intentions are obscured.

Word travels quickly by Flaming Fist soldier and commoner alike that Saint Merielle of Ilmater, Leonia Nightsong, and Sir Jonas Rokranon were murdered right on the Trade Way south of Baldur's Gate. Meri and Leo's bodies were seen being carried into the city, as well as the possessions of Sir Rokranon. It seems all three have since been revived, though bringing back Jonas from mostly ash greatly taxed poor Brother Marcus.

Bhaalists are suspected.

There was a comotion outside the Sorcerous Sundries establishment yesterday.

All further compounded by the shop being adorned with a large gaping hole where the door used to stood.

Amongst the rumours, there are talks of an attack inside the shop, of rampaging metal beasts, and Fist escorting a small child.

Amidst it all, several actually claim to have seen who they thought of as friends, to shift and transform into hideous beasts who then attacked the escorting party, inside the city proper.

While the rumours continue to grow over the apparent lack of safety within the city, some tying it to the recent activity of these so called bhaalists, others on letting the thieves guild run rampant, a few are skeptical over teh whole thing.

One thing is certain however. One way or another the Dukes will have to move soon to quell any signs of disorder so close to the seat of power.

In the meantime, those passing near the Sorcerous Sundries, may hear the ravings of a shopkeeper with little patience, and shouting loudly.

"Don't touch that! You will blow us all and half the city with it!"

"Where are my accounts? Have you been eating paper again?"

"I don't want to see you biting another customers ankle! And growling is not a proper form of greeting."

"Where is Niles? I better not see him dressed up with my rings of protection, and amulets, again. You want a doll, I'll buy you one, when I go to the market."

While some believe the mage is losing his mind, dislikes his new acquisition in the form of a toddler, others who know him better actually see a new shine in his eye daily.
