Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
The gift of life,
So precious and rare,
Being born to the forest,
From parents who care.
A blessing of the union,
From Corellon and Sehanine,
To bless these two agents,
With what most Elves dream.
A priestess of the Father,
A daughter of the Seer,
The life of these babies,
The whole village will hold dear.
Guarded by the parents,
With Dharasha by their side,
No evil will touch them,
No evil will abide.
Is their one? Or two?
Or three children waiting?
Her belly will go round,
With the village chocolate fading.
For the next two years,
Her ire will be tried,
Misty Forest be alert,
Misty Forest do hide.
The Seldarine will bless them,
The youth will go strong,
Luthien and El,
May their family live long.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Kaienrai gently sprinkled gold dust on the ink to dry it. He titled his work:
“Dharasha is a paradise isolated from the rest of the world. The essence of beauty and nature gather here. To be a part of Dharasha is to know a home away from home. We are as one…with the forest, with each other and in our ways. We honor the traditions of the People above all others, and guard against the threats that loom ever closer to our forest. Dharasha comes before any of us, and yet all of us are Dharasha. The ideal lives in all of us, because it is much more than one place.
Being accepted into Dharasha is as much a responsibility as it is an honor. Dharashans are expected to follow the Code of Conduct put forth by the Elders and to honor the principle values of love, liberty, kinship and loyalty. We will defend the forest and old ways as the ones who came before us, and we will carry on that mantle for generations to come. Know the village, the forest, the creatures and the citizens and find yourself in the beauty of what you are a part of and what it means to you. Deceit and treachery hold no place among Dharasha…DO NOT DISAPPOINT. Listen to the words of a Dharashan but take faith in your inner voice as well.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Last evening, the Dharashan witnessed a rather unusual occurrence: Archmage Kael materialized right outside the village's perimeter, and immediately strode towards the entrance.
Normally cold and detached, his face was this time a contorted mask of rage, and energy cracked around him as he entered the village in a whirlwind of dark robes.
Those that tried to talk to him were met by a chilling, unsettling stare, and no verbal reply as he stalked directly towards the Tavern. Once there, some heard him inquire on the whereabouts of the Cormiira and the Akh'Aegis.
The general consensus is he was less than pleased with something happened recently that possibly involved one or both of them.

This twisted culture got you feeding from its hand
But you will lose that food if you don't meet all their demands
And loyal is the soldier that gets slaughtered with the lambs
Examining the blueprints got you questioning the plans

Ithilwen is seen less outside lately and stays more in her rooms. When she is outside she can be found on the bench near the pond. She does not talk much unless spoken to and even then she replies with short answers. At times her hand rests on her stomach, caressing it from time to time. Her expression is blank with hints of sorrow shimmering through on occasion.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
The bench at the pond had been empty for two days now. Ithilwen had not been seen within the village for about the same amount of time, up until today. For a short period of time, she sat at the bench once more, her hood pulled forward covering half her face. She left for her chambers not long after.

Sehlanna trudged the long path home after assurance the wounded Wood Elfmaiden, Krisyl'lyn Ashenleaf, was recovering safely. Scores of Orc, after Orc had assailed them in the Misty Forest. Persisting on against them as sword arm and spells waned. Thanks to Archmage Kor'vain's timely arrival, both had made it back...but with the Wood Elf needed revival in Temple within. It had been a close thing.
Holding her side with trembling hand, she dragged her sword trailing behind her in the other. Slipping from tree to tree, she softly gasped for breath, bringing up a bloody palm with a groan at the sight, and pressed on. It had been a long battle. And rest at Dharasha had been refused, let alone medical treatment. For days she goes unseen.

"I don't get it - the wild elven male said - "why such hostility to her?"
Luthien gave Seldruin a blank look. She didn't look neither angry nor upset. Disappointed was more like it.
"When you try to manipulate almost everyone belonging to this community and spark a war between Doron Amar and this village, you can not seriously expect to receive a warm welcome. Plus, I am rather certain she was just feigning her injuries just to get inside the village. She looked rather fine to me."
"But...why?"
"I can not really know what goes on in the mind of a deceiver, cousin. Suffice to say, I do not consider that woman kin. Not after all the lies, all the manipulations she has spinned. I had already told her that she isn't welcome here.
Tell me, Seldruin, do you know what the reward of treachery is?"
The wild elf shook his head.
"Retribution, cousin. Let her deal with the consequences of her actions. Now, if you excuse me, there is an elf who needs my help."
Luthien entered the village, heading towards the wood elven woman's temporary quarters.

false witness
"She looked exhausted from battle, admitted so, and was in need of rest cousin" dismissing Luthiens protestations.
The aboriginal elf stood calmly, yellow eyes observing the scene.
"Indeed. While I am only Alantar, guest from the Laughing Hollow of the Delymbiyr that is not the hospitality I expected to see between kin. It is not my place as Witness of the Green Regent of the Realm of the Three Crowns, Melandrach Strongbow to belittle either of you cousin. This elf saved the life of another and addressed your concerns about her. In fact, her heroics undermine your belief that her words are lies. You, cousin Luthien, must uncover those truths or lies. I can not be a part of false witness. Are there no priests or priestess among you with talents of divination and truth?
"Retribution?" he repeats shaking his head. "After all, I am simply a guest, Alantar (Witness) of the Green Regent of the Realm of the Three Crowns. In the interest of establishing and strengthening bonds of trust and alliance between our peoples, I expect to see fair treatment kindly offered to all kin. You disappoint me cousin Luthien. Perhaps I should seek your Elder in addressing this hostility and retribution came to be?"
His gaze scans about and sees two Elders nearby. Nylaras Silverleaf stood at ease, her matronly forest green eyes gazing kind-heartedly from beneath straw-colored hair just across the gated bridge. Behind him the battle tested ranger Endrain Nar'arael was still poised, battle ready after the earlier call of a horn.
"I see that this must wait for a more peaceful time. Meanwhile, I am overdue to visit the tel'quessir of the southern forest and share in their hospitality." He turns to the path.

"There are laws which even us have to follow, cousin. Associating with the blood of the drow and treason are amongst those, and the punishment is not being allowed into the village. She committed those crimes about one month ago.
You speak of heroics, yet you were not there when she lied to my soulmate with the intent of getting a drow blood inside the village, nor were you there when she lied to me and to the regents of the elves in the south, almost sparking an armed conflict between us and them. Why should I cast a spell to determine the truth, if her own version is quite different from the one I heard from my spouse and from everyone else?
The fact that she saved another elf does not exculpate her from her past crimes. But apart from that, there was nothing to prevent her from sleeping underneath the canopy of a tree just at the village's gates, as long as it was outside.
That said, considering her own insistence in getting inside the village, and her ability to teleport herself away - which she curiously did not use this time - I had enough reasons to suspect her motives. Even without considering her not being welcome in here.
Feel free to speak with the elders, I doubt their opinion will differ that much from mine. But if you allow me one last suggestion, cousin...do not trust each and every elf you meet just because "he is an elf". You will see soon enough what do I mean."

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
She had fallen in the Misty Forest to an onslaught of orcs. The elven maiden Sehlanna had recovered her fallen body and, with the help of others, whisked her away to a hidden elven village. After recovering from her wounds, she quickly set out to see if her leopard "Icicle" had fared better than her. To Krisyl'lyn's surprise Icicle was waiting for her just outside the gates of the village. Pacing back and forth, occasionally letting out a roar.
"I am glad to see you are ok, Sister." Krisyl'lyn said with much love in her voice. She knelt down and wrapped her lithe arms around the leopard and squeezed her tightly. Tears of joy welled up in her eyes and she kissed the large feline on the head. "I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you.."
As they sat in the shade of an ancient tree, playfully wrestling around they were approached by an elf named Mendel. The two talked for some time about the forest and the village that rested in the safety of the canopy. He gave her permission to make camp outside the gates for as long as she liked. Still being on the mend, she accepted his offer and made camp by the pond. Mendel was called away as Krisyl'lyn began making camp.
She built a makeshift lean-to out of some fallen branches and draped some of her furs over the top. She then laid back and listened to the waterfall crash into the pond and smiled. "I think this will do, Sister." Icicle rested her head on Krisyl'lyn's stomach and began to purr. "I knew you would agree...", she said as she stroked the leopards fur.

The dark shadowy figure of Beatrix can often be seen stalking the Misty Forest near Dharasha. She seems to be hunting orcs as many are found dead with her acid and lightning arrows stuck in them.

He then walks inside the village and after greeting the rangers, he goes to meet the newest visitor in Dharasha, Krisyl'lyn. She has recovered well from her wounds and seems to be in good spirit. Mendel could tell she was a kind elf and was eager to learn more about Dharasha. Krisyl'lyn was allowed to set camp near the pond, right next to Deacon's Mushroom-house. Mendel promised Krisyl'lyn to meet again for a proper tour of the village.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Early in the morn, as Selûne's tears had trailed away and as the sun begins to push its first rays through the canopies - turning the soft eddies on the pond into a glittering show of light - Deacon leaves his little abode. Still wearing his night cap and bare of feet. In his hands Deacon carries a tray made from a smooth disc of wood upon which sit a few berries and biscuits and a cup of some steaming hot beverage - probably tea.
Deacon walks toward where Krisyl'lyn had set up her camp and leaves the tray infront of the opening in the furs and leafs. "Good morrow." He whispers before returning to his home, leaving a muddy trail of feet behind on his doormat.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Rumour says a Dark Robed Tiefling has stumbled into a strange land he has never seen before (((Dharasha))), with gates locked and plenty a elf to guard them. He notices a small dwelling made from an mushroom. He sets up a camp not far from it, removes his boots and crashes asleep exhausted from his journey. Some elven guards prod him lightly with arrows, but he has yet to wake!
Some saw the robed man approach some of the elven guard, but each of them refused to talk to the tiefling.
He continues to linger.... deep in slumber
