Endelyon wrote:A young, human girl with dark hair and blue eyes would be seen outside the village gates, pacing back and forth from time to time. She would appear friendly and bore no weapons, offering a polite smile to any who might pass. If questioned by the rangers, she would tell them that she was a member of the Sword Coast Commercial Exchange, and wished to speak with a representative of the city.

After a while, the girl would be seen speaking to a resident of the village and a wolf that appeared rather wary of the human's presence. The three of them (wolf included!) would exchange some pleasant conversation, and Endelyon would eventually depart the woods, appearing absolutely delighted.

*Rhys can be seen carrying many old papers from the Doron Amar archive to his desk. The result being a pile of papers in a chaotic order. While shifting from one paper to the next seemingly at random the one common name in all of them is Aloria. *

After months without news of Alyndra, she may be spotted in Doron Amar again. Usually making camp up the hill and beyond the inn. Although she is almsot ignorant of the latest events concerning Doron Amar, she feels a disturbance in the (///force, err, couldnt resist) natural balance...

She is especially concerned about Captain Mealir. She heard rumours that his ship may be damaged or even sunk. She leaves a note in the inn, for a meeting with him.

Endelyon would approach the rangers carefully with hands in the air to show she was clearly unarmed, before leaving a note with them and asking that it be delivered to Eowiel.

The note, if accepted and delivered, would read:

"Miss Eowiel,

It would seem a rather vicious looking black wolf with red eyes had taken up residence in the woods quite near your peoples' village. It was pushing the normal wolves into a frenzy, even seeming to help them lay ambush to travelers. A rather brash group of adventurers managed to dispatch the creature, though there might have been some collateral damage to the forested area just over the long rope bridge.

I would have preferred they seek counsel with your village before acting, especially considering the problem was in your own back yard.. Unfortunately I was unable to quell their thirst for battle, and my words fell on deaf ears.

I write to you now only to inform you of the situation and its outcome. One of the adventurers promised to me he would come and re-seed the area that was destroyed, but I have no idea whether he will follow through with that promise. I suppose that is all I can think to write.. if you have any questions about the incident, I can try to provide the answer. You already know how to reach me.

I hope everything is well for you and the rest of your village. Perhaps we will have a chance to speak soon.

Sincerely,
Endelyon"

Soft steps that are only heard by the keenest of ears enter the city of Doron Amar. The pale skined elf inclines her head respectfully to the guards at the gate a few small braids of her silvery white hair brushing her cheek as she does so. An unstringed bow and quiver full of arrows rests on her back; at her hips rests three short but well cared for blades.

Recognition appears in many of the ranger's eyes at the approaching elf. Acknowledging their recognition and their now opening mouths that likely wish to welcome her back the elven woman lifts her hand up signalling them to remain silent. She speaks softly but with a not to be argued with command to her voice, "Not tonight. Tonight, we come only to pay the respects to fallen friends."

An understanding passes among those that know and remember her. No words spoken as the head of the watch raises a hand and motions in the direction of the memorial. A respectful silence settles among the rangers remembering themselves of the heavy loss of the two well respected men once more. The gates open and she moves forward, to a place that she had allowed herself to call home for many of years.

She speaks to no one, if any attempt to greet her she simply holds up her hand motioning for them to be silent and lets her feet carry her forward. She only pauses to collect an arm full of flowers before she continues.

Standing before the memorial she feels the loss even more then when the words had reached her pointed ears. The words quietly tumble out of her lips, "Dear friend.... forgive me for not coming sooner... when you could have used me the most." She closes her eyes and carefully places the flowers down. "You were one of the few we ever fully trusted, but you knew that... that's why you took my place when I requested that of you... despite your objections to the idea. I could not have chosen a better man to have stepped into my shoes, I would not change that decision... we are so proud of you.... but I wish that I could tell you that to your face and not to...." The elf takes in a deep breath to keep the sobs from ripping out of her chest. The tears however escape her wintery blue eyes and down her soft pale cheeks. "...you will be missed always."

She remains at the site for many of hours speaking quietly to her fallen comrade and friend. Speaking to no one else she takes a room in the inn just before the rising of the sun.

Alyndra watches Eowiel distribute the silver among her fellow elves, standing under some boughs in a shadowy spot. She observes it with a growing apprehension. Finally she, too, decides to be ready for an attack on the elven retreat. Although she still doesn't fully understand what this conflict is about.

Her home is Doron Amar, first and foremost, the one place that welcomed her with open arms, although she is - and was even more so back then - rather reclusive and sometimes too direct with her words - which might be misconstrued as hostile.

The Knight Commander of the Order of the Silver Rose is seen approaching the Elven Rangers at the gates, bearing a missive to be delivered to Eowiel. After a moment of pleasantries and small conversation, the White Knight takes his leave headed back towards the Trade Way.

A group of rangers and druids, most of them human, passed the first bridge. They rested at the viewpoint near the inn for some time, where they talked while waiting for anyone of the elven leaders. As nobody came, most of them returned to the woods around the village. One of the rangers left a message.
