Sister Arabella quickly gathers her limited possessions in the middle of the night. With but a quick pause to say farewells, notably to Sister Althea, she leaves.

Where her path took her is unknown, but one thing is certain, she was never heard from again by the Ilmateri.

Louise enters the sanctuary once again, a notable lack of hesitation upon her steps as she looks purposeful in her intent. She looks weary from travel, nevertheless she approaches brother Marcus, letter in hand, asking him if he knows the whereabouts of the Living Saint, and if they could possibly contact her?

The broken seal pressed upon the letter seems to contain the image of a seagull flying over the ocean, stars in the background with the letter "C" above the bird.

[Another letter arrives, bearing script in a familiar hand, and the seal bearing Ilmater's holy symbol. It is addressed to Sister Louise.]

Delphinn Veil finds the girl Laydalee, and quickly gathers her and her belongings.

"It seems we're going to have to go elsewhere for help after all. We'll find the aid you need somehow."

The two leave the Church as discreetly as possible.

A letter arrives, addressed to the Ilmatari, both at the orphanage and the temple. It bears Sister Merielle's handwriting, the symbol of Ilmater and is otherwise uncomplicated by formalities and adornments. It is addressed to both the Ilmatari and close allies:

Brothers, Sisters, and dearly missed friends and family:

By the time this letter reaches you, we should nearly be there. Try not to let Sister Juna fuss to much over our arrival. I pray it finds you all well. There is much catching up to do, and I would very much like everyone to meet Matty when we get home...

How I have missed this place... I worry for leaving Sister Ali and dear Jonas amid Tethyr's current troubles... but they worry for us terribly and feel a visit to the Coast is both safest and wisest. For now, I can safely abide both their wishes, my duty and my want to visit with old friends.

Mercy willing, and by the Triad's hands... we will be safely in the Gate by supper time tomorrow... I will relent and let Sister Addy cook... so long as I get to make muffins. I've no doubt the children and Thedran miss those. I miss cooking. I can't wait to get home...

[After spending of the morning unpacking the family's meager belongings and spending time with the children, Tessian heads off to see to some business while Meri makes her way to the temple to catch up with the Brothers and Sisters there... She seems very glad to be ... home.]

Meri makes her way to the temple before the sun rises, each day... she spends time in prayer before tending the morning duties. She then makes her way back to the Orphanage to tend to the children, grateful for the help of the Sisters. Indeed, some would argue she has spread herself thin. Seen going between the Radiant Heart Chapter-house and the Orphanage... more often than not with her daughter in arm. She seems to be enjoying it however, as she was never one to sit still. Once the bustle of appointments finally subsides, she settles into a rather regular routine... which includes a much needed mid morning nap when Matilde sleeps. In any case, those seeking Sister Merielle likely need not leave the city to find her, though leaving a message in one of the three places may be easier than trying to catch her.

A small but eclectic group gathered in the sanctuary. Within the temple proper the Saint was seen drawing runes on the floors. A behemoth looking man? in a gleaming full plate, a sorcerer, a paladin, a man known as a paladin who possessed of a knack for music, and the healers of the Sanctuary gathered near the alter.

It is unsure to those not there what happened, at several moments bright flashes of light could be seen from the windows and cracks under doors... At one point a malevolent and booming voice was heard, only to be silenced by Meri and the others.

Meri, who looked very much exhausted as she staggered weakly to the Orphanage, made her way slowly and unsteadily. She made it as far as her room, tending her young infant before falling into a deep sleep, not to be heard from anytime soon, likely the rest of the day.

With Buurk renouncing his quest for vengeance for a path of forgiveness, Louise has started becoming a noticeable presence in the Sanctuary once again, whether helping Sister Rachel with her patients, Sister Addy in the kitchen, or Sister Juna with the children. She takes pride in her work, having missed the honest chores Candlekeep no longer required her to do with its over-abundance of new acolytes.

Having entirely missed the events detailed above, she is often curious of Merielle's whereabouts, and offers the Saint her aid whenever she can. She does not press the woman to explain her weariness - she merely assumes if she must know, she will be told.

Days later, she speaks to Sister Juna of the possibility of bringing the older children (who would wish to see such a potentially scary spectacle, of course) to the latest production of the White Mask Theater's Karsus's Folly play. She also runs this plan by Merielle.

Meri smiles at Louise.

"That is a wonderful Idea... I am sure David could use the break, as could most of the older children. They have been such a great help of late. Daniel, Nicholas and Gale could go to... But only if they wish to. Perhaps Nicholas can mind his language until the production to be allowed to go? That should give him some incentive."

Meri looks considerably less tired today, and more up to her usual spirits. From time to time a sadness crosses her features, quickly dispelled by quiet prayer as she continues her duties. Those that know her best know that she is trying to keep herself busy...

Before leaving Candlekeep, Louise mails a letter to the Temple.

"I apologize for my sudden departure, my brothers and sisters.
But my tasks have need of me South, to Amn. I pray I am not
waylaid long, but this is a personal matter. My prayers will be
with you, and with the orphans, and when I return, hopefully I
can bring back presents.

Jero approaches the chapterhouse and eyes the solid stone walls with a thoughtful gaze, shrugs a little and approaches the gates.

"Who can I speak to about making a donation of sorts to the orphanage?", he asks as his gaze trails towards the sign near the gates. His lips curl in a faint amused smirk.

"Sister Juna is at the sanctuary right now. She usually deals with the orphanage business," replies the guard.

A message is sent out from the temple to Tethyr. Many days later, another arrives at the temple, addressed to Luthien Aelorothi-Durothil, High Priestess of Hanali Celanil.
