No, it is a passive effect applied all the time.

Nothing has been changed on the wiki yet. Shifter shapes have the same rules as Wildshape does, merging etc.

It's unlikely the update happens before the period ends. If somehow it does, i wouldn't expect it but admins will have the final say on this.

Question: How does Monk interact with the class? Does he get Wisdom to AC in the shapes? Do the attacks count as unarmed? I'm trying to figure out the best 10 levels to take alongside it. I'm guessing monk stuff doesn't work with the forms, but what about transmutation wizard's Augment Form?

How about the polymorph/shapechange spells? Will they benefist from the stat/ac increasing the shifter forms get as well?

What about Spell Focus: Transmutation. Does that benefit shifter forms?

2) Shifter's polymorph/shapechange are not part of the mastered forms, they do not receive these bonuses. They are specifically for these 10 shapes.

Do all item boni get disabled, just weapon DMG, Nat Ac, deflection Ac and armor Ac transfer?

What feats work wild shaped, Northlander, expose weakness, combat expertise, power attacks, man at arm's challenge, divine might?

STR,dex,con are set by shape, int,Wis,cha are from character?

Pls let divine might work, I want to make an owl bear Paladin!

Those are also all good questions I'd like to know the answers to.

Shifters get better spell/ability DCs than most mages I've seen...

Sneak attacks do transfer but they won't stack with Pixie.

The rules are the same as in the current Wildshape. I think all of these do transfer but you have to check yourself. Yes to stats, int/wis/cha are unchanged.

Shifter DCs cap out at 30 (10 base + 20 shifter levels). Most mages approach 40 and in some cases go even higher ^^

Breach Gnome. Will it work with Shifter? What about Palemaster or Dwarven Defender AC bonuses?

Do the shape abilities have an SR check?

Might as well disregard dwarven defender. You need 7 bab to get it, making you lose out on shifter levels

I would think PM abilities stack, but I think there are other options better than those.
