She is directed to Jonas, who, since he is no longer a senior member and has no office, has spread scrolls about a table in the dining hall. He stands at the table in such a way that the portrait of Meri herself seems to watch over him. When she approaches, he looks up and smiles. "Ah, sister. I take it you got my note. I would appreciate if you could look at one of our members, Paladin Elril."

She smiles in turn. A brow gets arched at the scrolls on the table, but she nods. Without thinking she moves to peer over his shoulder, unaware that she replaces her portrait's gaze with her own. "Of course, dear brother. More paperwork? And I left word for Louise too, since you asked after us both. What is the matter?"

Those that enter the lower levels of the Radiant Heart Chapter house notice a few boxes covering up a door. Candle Light can be seen illuminating the cracks around the door frame.

Jonas leads Meri down to that very doorway, and begins to move the heavy crates out of the way. "You will see. It is better that you meet him yourself, as I am ignorant of the entirety of what ails the man. His name is Elril, and he is a paladin of Lady Firehair."

She follows him, listening as he speaks. Meri frowns at the boxes piled in front of the door. As Jonas works, she arches a brow. "Why is..." she gestures to the boxes. "So not a physical wound then?" Her brow creases in faint worry.

He glances at her while moving the last box. "His left hand is missing, but I think that is unrelated." Jonas then proceeds to knock on Elril's door.

Elril hears the knock, then comes to door, unlatches it from the inside and slowly opens it. Then speaks, "Well met brother jonas" he then looks to the female within the hall, "Is this the cleric, the order has sent for?"

He then looks to Jonas, "I know this much seem strange, but after the incident with Eliph...The order here has taken many precautions as of late, Especially for one who was taken as a prisoner and then released such as myself." He continues "Many seek to destroy this Chapter house, if not from the outside then from within."

Meri nods, frowning lightly. Once Jonas knocks however, she adopts her more neutral, patient expression. She seems unsure of what to expect, as she waits for an answer from the other side of the once barred door.

When the man answers, she simply listens quietly as he speaks to Jonas, taking note of his body language as well as apparent health.

Jonas nods and offers a friendly smile to Elril. "Would you have me prove myself in some way? As for this woman, she is Merielle Silene, the Living Saint and Favored of Ilmater. I trust her as I trust few others on Toril."

The paladin elril, looks to be fine health, minus his missing left hand. He then greets them both with a smile

He then speaks

"A pleasure to meet one of such renown, I have heard many tales that You and Sir Jonas have accomplished."

Meri hides a faint blush with a nod of her head. "My own tales are not so grand as popular rumor might give them credit to be." She looks him over and glances to Jonas. Her gaze settles back on Elril, "You have need of a healer?"

The paladin Erza would walk down to check on her brother in faith, as she notices the others she stands in the door way watching silently, concern for Elril might be apparent.

After a few moments, Jonas notices Erza and with a small turning up of his lips, gestures for her to enter the room as well. His attention then shifts back to Elril and Meri.

Erza would offer a smile to Jonas and head into the room, she remains silent as to not interrupt the priestess but she offers Elril and Meri a kind smile

Elril then speaks to Meri then speak, Yes, milady I was recently captured by one them foul creatures from the underdark, for some reason the creature did not slay me, that is where my concerns lies, Given the fact that I was moved from the place of my shameful defeat and not killed is beyond me, the foul thing threaten for me to plead for my life, In which I refused.

The foul abomination cut and tore into my skin, I do not remember much through this ordeal, the creature keep on asking me to plead for my life or offer some reason for the foul thing not to kill me. I refused and was ready to embrace sune's love.

After some time the foul thing mention that I've met her before long ago under confused circumstances. Another failure on my part" Elril face looks more a bit sadden.

He then steadies himself near a bookshelf, then looks over to meri

He continues on"Then everything faded to black, I fear that foul thing has done something to me, but I do not know the measure of it, I've requested your aid so that you may perform a ritual of purification, as there are no clerics of my faith in these lands I besiege you for your services. I shall remain sequestered in my quarters until such time for I will not risk ill on those of the chapterhouse.
