Rumours of Sshamath

*Tedia Dev'lin is seen once again walking the streets of Sshamath her jaw taught and a determined expression on her face*

Halfway through the cycle, a large group of masked Drow, a human clad in metal armor, and two imposing Orcs enter the city of Sshamath and moves for the central market place. Upon arrival, they are met by an impatient Conclave Official and Slave Master. Next to the two is a large closed carriage, moans of pain and sickly coughs are heard from within the carriage as, one of the masked Drow remove his hood to do business with the Conclave Official.

The unmasked Drow, Phar, as it turns out to be, signs a document and then orders the carriage to the Stonestave, seat of the Conclave. The two Orcs line up behind the carriage along with the Drow Amir, who happened to be nearby and was ordered by Phar to help the two Orcs.

A while later the carriage arrive at the Stonestave and those inside it, six slaves of surface origins are ushered into the Stonestave. Soon after, a blueish light emenate out from under the doors of the building. When the light finally fades, Phar, the masked Drow, Amir, and the two imposing Orcs, leave the building. Neither the human, nor the six slaves are seen again.

*as the group walks through a drow follows from a distance, wearing a mask and a body full of plate. the person vanishes as the precession does.

Qilintha is seen entering the Dev'lins temporary compound, her eyes flickering a deep hue of red as her lips curl into a snarl. As she walks, she eyes a bloodied symbol of Lolth wrapped between her fingers.

Moments later, Ril'vyr can be seen heading into the wilds of the Underdark his mask concealing any expression.

Tebaun, after the mission on the surface is enjoying a drink or two at Glouras. He can be heard by others patrons saying

"I am telling you... they dont hate us up there. I was there, on a mission and even though we were just outside of one of their orders, noone laid a finger on us. It was scary at first, since we were so close but then it felt... i dont know how to say it... safe maybe? It seems we dont do enough raids or they do like our raids"

He chuckles to himself taking another sip of a dark red and dry wine.

"It seems the only ones hating drow are... other drow"

Escherichia Dev'lin returns to the caravan, her face splattered in blood. She smirks as Ril'vyr quickly catches up behind her. Using a cloth, she wipes her face clean and dismisses Ril'vyr.

"Dossta job is naut complete, dalninuk. Usstan am sure dos will succeed soon."

She looks briefly once more in the direction she had come from before paying the caravan for her ride back to Varalla's passage.

His business with the Conclave concluded two cycles ago, Phar once more walk the streets of Sshamath with a hooded female drow following close behind him. His every step seem a little lighter, a slight prideful bounce to them, and a small smirk occasionally play on his lips. After spending nearly an hour in the markets, the two leave Sshamath through the portal leading into Varalla's Passage.

After putting some distance to the guards stationed near the portal, Phar pulls out a scroll and starts to read through it. Just as he speaks the last syllable, the female drow touches his shoulder, and a heartbeat later the two of them are gone, the air charged with magic where they stood.

Hours later the two of them return to the city, the female drow looking bruised and battered, but her head held high. Phar, showing no hint of weariness, occasionally look towards the female drow, approval in his eyes. After a few whispered words the two of them part ways, however, the observant one might notice the two of them heading for the same tavern nearly an hour later, only a few minutes apart.

West of Varalla's passage stands three pikes. Perched upon each are three bloodied heads. On closer inspection, they might be recognized as: Phar, Amir and N'essa. A spider is carved into each of their foreheads and webbing on any exposed skin.

*a female drow in dark armor walks up to the heads and slides her hands down the sides of Nessa's and Phars decapitated faces, then she reaches down to the mid part of the pike and breaks them both, walking off with two heads whispering lightly* "this should make for an interesting cycle"

A mummy walks past the remaining head of Amir. Just a moment later, a robed drow follows it and stops to study the remaining head. His facial expression is covered by the face of a skull he is wearing as a mask. He looks at the two broken off spikes first with some curiosity, then settles his gaze on the spike with Amir's head. He cackles slightly for a few moments, then removes a glove to reveal a skeletal hand. He reaches the hand up to the head hanging on the spike and rips pieces of skin from it until its whole face is removed, exposing the skull beneath.

He then steps back to admire his artistic work. His loud, manic laughter is carried far through the tunnels as he walks towards Sshamath.

Dev'lin patrols are seen around the Misty Lake area, clearing any hostile beasts, including the Driders that come too close to the guard posts.

A single trade caravan arrives soon after, a well dressed male Drow scouting the area with a deep interest in his surroundings. This male would be seen for several cycles, setting up camp and working by candlelight at times of rest.

Ril'vyr Dev'lin has been seen in the mist lake talking to what only can be some sort of contract worker.. It seemed as he was giving him orders, and ideas about something.

Duergar workers begin to march in at Misty Lake, a male Drow pointing at papers and gesturing to the grounds around them, presumably giving orders. As the workers check the ground stability once more, they begin to break ground, excavating a very large area into the cave side, running deeper below the surface.

Thrar Dev'lin has ben seen in the market district of Sshamath shouting directions to several servants mounting a smaler caravan, the servants bearing the Lolthian insignia carrying a large ammount of papyrus into the leading cart. Anyone with a good eye would notice markings on the papyrus that resembles blueprints...After supplying in Sshamath for some time the Caravan moves towards the Misty Lake.

Ril'vyr Dev'lin has been seen escorting building materials from Sshamath to the Mist Lake, he was commanding a small group of lower ranking Dev'lin and slaves
