Selune wanes, though still swelled to three quarters over the night sky of Thundar's Ride. A region known for its bugbear bandits and other beasts that harass or harm the unwary upon the northern stretch of Tradeway leading from the Gate.

This night, however, other mischief was afoot.

There was a woman, in light blue clothes which whipped in the night breeze, running full tilt through the crests of hills and grassy fields, yelling curses, obscenities, and taunts to the low-men that would terrorize the road. If words weren't enough thrown rocks and other distractions might be and as soon as a foe's attention was caught she was in full flight once more, running toward the highest hill in the region.

Only when her pursuers drew close enough would her intent be made clear - as the keening whistle of arrows filled the air and brought low anything that was foolish enough to chase this 'rabbit' of a woman.

Ebon Blade Mercenaries patrolled that night, and while they kept up their 'bait and trap' for a time, they also actively patrolled the roadway, putting down aggressors and keeping the way clear for several candlemarks.

On the Southern shores of the winding way, the makeshift battlement and moat are approached by over a half-dozen men and women as well as extra-planar beings. Among the swords, bows, axes, wards, and various armors one thing stood true to all – the pin of the Ebon Blades.

The mercenaries were spied patrolling into the area, and held a brief exchange with occupants of the battlement. When word of an attack on the battlement was named, this was met with the reality the mercenaries were simply a sending away. The talks were calm, and from a certain recruit’s perspective merely conversations between others.

“.....wait, is it bitch wolf among them?”

Occupants of both sides howled, the recruit being as obnoxious as usual. The mercenaries departed soon after, clear on their intent to establish permanent patrols and presence on their side of the front to assist in the Devil threat.

At the Bridgefort, the Commander of the Northern Watch would be seen handing over a report to a Flaming Fist soldier with word it be put in General Scar's hands quickly. She would then be seen speaking for some time to her Lieutenant and Sergeants, before mounting a dapple grey Calimite mare with heavily laden saddlebags, travelling swiftly for the City, and it's port.

Out in the Troll Claws just west of the Winding Waters Front-line many rides donning black garbs being spear headed by a man in black fullplate adorned in golden accents thunder through the hills. Ten of the riders continue to push West as the rest of the number roam about the hills appearing to be scouting about for something.

A new post is soon enough pinned onto the bullet-on board of the Soubar. The culprit of the newly pinned parchment a small hin women with snow white hair dressed formally in black attire. A few crest and declarations may be able to be made out if viewed upon the upper right of the part of the black vest of the women.

The first a clear symbol of Ubtao hanging along a golden necklace upon her neck.

A Zentarium crest is pinned upon her black vest above an iron token of from sort that would be indistinguishable to those without much knowledge of chultan society.

The women turns and leaves the area traveling south after leaving the letter on the board
.

"Purchasing corpses, no questions asked."

"Prices may vary from 5 bags, to 200 bags depending on the rarity, size, previous disposition, or bundle offered."

"If you have an offer, drop the body off nearby bridge at dusk."

"Don't waste my time with scandals, undead or questions."

Soon enough Batibat makes to way to the bridge traveling from the direction of Thunder's Ride atop a small black ebony pack donkey. As she rides up to the bridge she takes a gander at the wrapped wares settled aside the bridge with the message.

A small smirk creeks upon her face as she makes her way towards the trade goods dismounting her donkey and kneeling down upon the bodies. Before even reading the note she first decides to attempt to pull some of the strands of linen cloth trying to confirm that the bodies were indeed trade goods and not alive. Even performing a small autopsy if her suspicions were true to find out the cause of death or if any parts were missing.

Batibat nods her head a few times after gathering the information from the autopsy from the bodies before her. Afterwards her eyes soon lifting up to the message pinned onto the heads of the bodies with the knife. She attempts to pull the knife keeping the message pinned, to collect the note and examine it.

After examining the note batibat soon pockets it. Then looking to the bodies attempting to pick them up and toss them onto her ebony donkey to then ride to her destination. The winding waters.

A lone moon elven spellsword may have or not been seen in the Misty Forest, hunting the orcish raiders there and patrolling for potential devil activity in the elven forest.

A man with a blindfold and a cloak of Helm is seen walking around Soubar and the adjacent areas. He wanders around but doesn't seem lost.

A lone figure is spotted at the Shrine of Eldath, praying there for several hours.

He leaves some offerings at the shrine, a big white pearl and a topaz.

Within the quiet calmness of the night a quiet exchange of words between the High Priestess, Batibat and the Baron Griel Nightgale echo softly within the area of the Boareskyr Bridge. The hin seems to be leading the conversation in a thorough explaining or advertisement of some sort to the Baron and a, Korden Ivatrix in the exchange to which carries on for about an hour. After the conversion between the two of them Batibat gives the baron a light bow and sets off into the distance once again only to arrive back to the bridge in the coming of dawn with medical and tent supplies in her possession.

As she arrives she spots a man seeming to set up a barricade upon the bridge who seems to be having trouble although to her understanding the job seemed easy, it was only the builders clumsiness that was causing the slow set up time.

After a breif exchange rebuffs between her and the man Batibat finds the time to pitch up her own tent filled with medical supplies and scrolls of Resurrection. Large bone totems are soon sunken into the dirt around the tent and a sign is placed label: Dimensional Lock Currently Active, by way of the Temple of All-Seeing Eyes.

After which Batibat sends a Dimensional Lock on the area and takes her place in her tent opening a tome with a depiction of a skull on the cover and calmly reading the context.

Yet another peaceful night graces the Boreskyr Bridge defense, as the barricades, command tents and medical centers stand tall. An array of light beacons are displayed along the barricades of the Ebon Blade and the Temple of All-Seeing Eyes medical aid tent. Most who would arrive to the bridge from the hostile territory across would see them as a beacons of safety.
