She manages a small nod when Ezra enters the room, but her focus is on the man before her. She listens to his words carefully, regarding him with more empathy than sympathy. When she speaks, her voice is quiet. "What you see as a failure, I can only see as a success. Survival is a victory itself in such situations. We are only truly defeated when we do not live long enough to correct our mistakes."

She offers him a reassuring smile before continuing. "I have a number of divine workings that could do much against her efforts, even undo them entirely. However, it would be most helpful to narrow your needs down, rather than casting many blindly and hoping for the best." Her smile fades with the seriousness of the topic, but her gaze is continually kind and patient. "She left no physical marks? You said you worry she has done something, are there symptoms?"

Jonas speaks up, his voice warm. "Meri is correct. You yet live, so you have the opportunity to correct any mistake you may have made. That is a gift. Many people are born and die without such opportunity. You shall have your chance to avenge yourself upon the wicked." He falls silent as Meri begins her work.

*Colwyn does his best to remain out from underfoot. He spends his time attending to the day to day tasks of the chapterhouse, leaving his betters to interact freely. The templar keeps mainly to himself as he tends the stabled animals and other remaining duties. With the small amount of time left afterward he spends his time at the temple of Ilmater and his obligations there, careful not to interrupt the goings-on at either site.*

Meri continues watching Elril with patient concern. She glances around noting the others, and meeting Jonas' gaze for a half a breath. Not knowing Elril that well, she resumes watching his mannerism still, for any oddities.

Erza leaves and returns a few hours later making her way back down to the group she would whisper to Jonas as to not disturb the others "i have talked to knight commander Eldarian, he will come by the compound soon with a vial of what was forced upon brother Elril, maybe it shall hold a clue"

He nods, the corners of his mouth turning up slightly. "Ah, excellent. That should help a great deal."

I do not what if anything affects me, this is only a precautionary measure, especially since the fall of eplihas, if he even fell or was evil in nature in the beginning.

I was hoping that you could desern if anything is a amiss, you are a cleric are you not, I am but a mere paladin so I cannot offer any insight into the matter, I know only the sword and my faith that guides it

Meri sets to work, putting her knowledge of various ailments, or signs of trouble to work. She gives him a complete once over as much as she can with out embarrassing the man.

"I may not be able to narrow it down without this substance or some clue as to what it was. I'm not overly fond of guessing." She glances from Elril to Ezra. "Though if nothing else is known of this substance currently in ... Eldarian's," she says the name uncertainly (she isn't as good with names it seems) before continuing. " ...possession, we can resort to blanket cures and restoratives. Any word on how soon it can be delivered?"

A message is sent to the Radiant Heart Compound on behalf of the Flaming Fist, though it likely doesn't arrive until morning. It is a simple message to be passed on to the Sunite Erza and worded along the lines of: "Ana" has come down with a cough (likely the plague) and is quarantined within the Harbor. She wishes for you to send aid.
