*Uriel stretches his neck and absently touches his broken arm, now attached to his side as he stops before each guard. News from the General dares manifest hope in those who hear it.*

*Comes a Dwarven voice from the back almost missing the speech. Revenark waits till Uriel is done with the knights, and bids him, and John over*
"We have much to talk over my good friend. Oh and ye be needing a patch for that eye there Uriel? I be having extra."
*He smiles and gives a wink... or a blink... it's hard to tell*

Cyurs moves about the halls of the keep, strangely absent from the recent battle. He listens intently to the speach and gets up to go when it is over...heading back to bury his head in another book.....muttering to himself.

Passers by the library can hear Cyrus in a debate with someone, but if they pause to look in, they see he is alone. And if they pause too long, they see a book flying at their head.

*Knight General Seth Siger has not been heard from nor seen, since he fell at the battle of Triel.*

The rain pours hard as the figure walks through the darkness up the pathway leading to the Keep. His tall figure only revealed by the occasional flash of lightning. He passes the guards with a silent nod and knocks loudly on the door to ensure he is heard over the raging storm.

After a minute the door slowly opens. A stream of light streams out into the darkness as the door opens a crack. "Ahh, Squire William."

"Reporting for duty" He says with a tired voice, his heavy eyes revealing fatigue and exhaustion.

"Come in", the door opens wider for him to enter.

An even darker storm is seen in the distance, slowly rolling in. The light from within the Keep shined out into the black night in defiance.

Since the fall of Triel, Lady Missy has been moping around the castle refusing to talk to anyone. She's not been eating and dark circles underscore her usually beautiful blue eyes. Her failure at Triel is definitely taking its toll.

Cyrus comes out of his library with a roar, pulling a chair behind him, and stands up on it and calls the Knights, Squires, and General(s)..... all members and allies in the keep to the common area by the stairs.

"ALRIGHT, I BE HAVING ENOUGH OF THIS. GET OFF YOUR COLLECTIVE ARSES AND LISTEN UP. SURE WE GOT BEATEN DOWN, BRUISED, INJURED....BUT BY MY RECONING, THE BIGGEST THING WOUNDED HERE SEEMS TO BE PRIDE!!!!!

Ye all fought honorably, there tis nothing wrong in that, our enemies, known and unknown, pulled a couple of fast tricks....but I be betting it nay happen a second time.

Ye are not going to win every fight, but you only truely loose a fight iffen ye nay learn from ye mistakes. So get up, sharpen ye blades, bang out your armor and start training again. Tis only a battle that was lost, tis the war we be looking to now. We still have family unaccounted fer, members of the Order and her allies, we should be out looking for them as we speak, not moping around this here Keep.

The Black Orcs and their allies will be made to pay, and there will be a reckoning....fear ye not. Till then, stand your post, do your duty, let's bring everyone home safe. Tis a dwarven thing, but we never leave a Samman behind....I nay plan on starting now."

With that Cyrus jumps down off the chair, tosses it back into the library and heads for the door, pulling axe and dagger out, ther determination is unmistakable upon his face.

Elias who stayed behind at the keep, since he was not experienced enough to fight at Triel he helps the wounded and the day-to-day jobs in the keep. He keeps quiet and trys to gather all the information he can from what the others say, afraid to ask more questions.

While out on his patrols, he moves along the river looking for any traces of Sir Seth and Lady Elvina

* As Seth approaches consciousness he can feel the agonising physical pain reverberate thru his body. Then a calmness overcomes his senses, and he feels something nudge the cheek of his face. Something cold, yet wet, its persistance seems to have an urgency to it. His voice moans as he grumbles in a low pitched voice " El........." his eyes open to a wolf nudging him to awaken. Seth stops his words before they come. Groggily he looks into the wolf's eyes as the wolf calmly steps back and cocks his head. Seth can feel the relief of his pain leaving his body as he stares into the wolf's eyes. The wolf slowly blinks, and shakes the morning dew from its coat of fur.He then turns to leave but stopping to look back to Seth, and waits. Seth instictively knows this is a beckon to follow.

He pulls himself from the mud of the river bank and crawls towards the wolf. Slowly he feels his strength returning, and grabs a nearby tree to pull himself to his feet. Although he loses sight of the woodland creature, he follows the direction in which the wolf trotted off in. Still in a daze he tries to follow the tracks of the creature, but fails, only to see the wolf reappear, waiting patiently for Seth to almost catch up.

The Wolf guides him to a clearing near the banks upriver.Upon entering the clearing he is confronted by the wolf's pack, all look to him with a bit of a snarl and low growl. Seth looks to them and falls to his knees with no weapon to be had. He outstretches his arms and bows his head. The wolves study him for a moment, then begin to move aside, creating an opening into the center of their pack, revealing a broken womans body laying there, unconcious. Seth crawls forward, forgetting the wolves that surround her, focusing on her. He then recognises her, "Elvina" He cries falling upon her. He gently turns her over, afraid of what he will see. Upon seeing her face he gently brushes the hair from her eyes, and embraces her in his arms.

The eyes of the wolves are upon them, they begin to seemingly glow, as they close the pack to encircle them. Seth opens his eyes, only to find the wolven were gone and Elvina in his arms.*

Tyn leaves the meeting at the Order's keep, and heads into the woods of the sharp teeth and starts to speak with the animals. Birds, deer, rabbits.. He leave no creature unspoken with. He tells them he is looking for injured humans near Triel, probably near the rivers. He ask that they speed word to him of any found, dead or alive.

After being knighted and helping in the finding of Lady Elvina and Sir Siger, William King locks himself in a room in the Silver Rose Keep with books, parchment, and quill. He proceeds in writing a letter to Captain Winters of the Neverwinter Guard: his old friend, leader, and mentor.

He sets the quill down after finishing the letter. He spends the next day reading, praying to Lathander, and pondering the new responsibilities he has taken on as a Knight Errant in the Order. During his time of fasting he rededicates his soul to the oaths he made when he became a Squire, and those covenants he made when becoming a Knight.

When he emerges from the chamber a new light shines in his eyes. The fatigue and loss of Triel seem to be gone from his countenance, replaced with a light and energy to get to work.

Sitting in the lounge of the Keep, John puts pen to paper and writes a letter to his Lady Commander, knowing she may not ever see it, he feels compelled to put pen to paper:

"Despite mybest intentions otherwise, I have developed a fondness for the Dwarves who live in the Keep. I came to this realization suddenly when I caught myself asking Rand to make me a pot of, "Angus' Tea" - that Dwarvish brew of unknown origin, and until now dubious and to be avoided. As I drink the bitter tea I realized that that it suits my mood. In standing with the Dwarves in front of the Dukes the members of the Order drew a line in the sand. Was this a rash decision? I believe in my heart that they were true to us, to the people of Triel, and to the Dukes, and when they were insulted, my honour demanded I step in. I realize that I may have ruffled some feathers by asking where the Fist was in all of this, and when His Grace indicated that they had lost enough members of the Fist and that is why they did not participate, I understood why we did not hold the town. It was not because we were too few, it was because we are not united. Our summons and subsequent conversation in the Duchal Palace confirmed that even those we hold as allies disagree with what should have been done, and what yet needs to be done. The burden of responsibility lies heavily on all parties, and each of us reacts as we do not out of malice but out of a sense of duty, but it also seems that sense differs amongst the different groups. With our Order decimated I will pray for Tyr to guide me, and us, on our next steps and to evaluate our role here in this place. The break in the sorrow for us was initiating sir William as a Knight Errant in the Order's chapel - such joy was what was needed in this time of such sorrow. My Good Lady, I hope this letter finds you whole and healthy. I will leave it with Rand until you return.

*Lady Elvina drifts in and out of conciousness as she lays in the Temple of Tyr after her and Seth were found along the river Chionthar nearly where it lets out into the sea by the brave OSR Knights led by Sir Uriel with a broken arm himself. With make-shift stretchers they journied back to the City to their former foster home at the Temple of Tyr, not daring to go any further due to the dire condition of the two. The High Priest along with a couple Ilmatari nurses tend to the two till long into the night. With healing magic no longer working...Elvina can be heard crying out in pain as they splint her broken leg, wrap her broken ribs tightly with gaus and tend to her broken nose with two black eyes for proof. She's lost alot of blood. If not for Seth finding her and casting the last of his healing on her to stop the bleeding she would surely be dead by now.

Uriel ordered the others to leave and get some rest themselves and he and Gina stayed a while longer to make sure the two were stablized before heading back to the Keep themselves. He also ordered two Knights to be present with them at all times while they recovered in the temple.

Her eyes opening just to slits briefly, she can be heard calling out Seth's name weakly...*

Moving under the cover of darkness and with all care to conceal his presence, an elven messenger bearing the seal of En Dharasha Everae arrives at the Hall of the Silver Rose. He carries with him a message which he says he would give only to the General. If the General were to grant him audience

"General, I come bearing word from the elves of the northern lands. Ahk'aegis Laisren has commanded that we might aid you in the recovering of your people from the Orcish held land. Villi Mendel and the Master Ranger Feralyn stand prepared to aid you in scouting the area in and around Triel. If you agree to this, I have been commanded to return this word to our village that they may begin their expedition to find the whereabouts of your people. What would I tell the Ahk'aegis General?"

The messenger awaits word.......
