Fronn wrote:Hi, I'm very new here (just started last week) and this is my first real RP experience. I only play a TN half-elf Rogue right now named Gull. He grew up in Luskan with his mother and four sisters and often had to steal food and gold to keep his family fed and his sisters from turning to unsavory means. He was caught stealing but managed to escape Luskan into exile along the Sword Coast. He often tries to adventure (or pickpocket upper class citizens) to gain some coin to send back to his family, though does not like putting himself in direct danger and prefers to con or sweet talk other adventurers into taking on the brunt of the risk when dungeon delving.

As I said, I'm very new to this so any criticism would be very welcome! I've wanted to RP in Forgotten Realms for a long time now and finally found a good medium for it.
Sounds like an interesting concept and a good departure from a power based character. I think it could be neat if played out well. Good luck my friend!

Hello. Not sure who might have met Nawiel Jr'eine, the odd drowess. But if you have, I'd appreciate your thoughts on her, and/or suggestions you might have. Thank you.

Yours truly, Empoweredfan.

Nawiel:
The lack of pirates and heretical drow wizards on the server severly hampers her style.

Recently a bit too deering do for her own good but I blame that on the curse of nice surfacers during her first runs up there sluming.

Wisdom isnt her strongest attribute and that fact tends to shine through well enough.

Got a lot more to say, but you already know most of it anyway.

/M

Anyone who has substantial feedback on Valiant, feel free to let me know. I won't toggle hostile, I promise. In order to grow you need a few scars, right?

Keep sticking with her. In two years, I have always seen you play her, and only her. That is amazing, considering that you never had interest in powerbuilding, looting or any other form of mechanical gain: exclusively furthering your RP. My only suggestion is: being a tad bit more secretive, and more ruthless in fighting evil, could help.

Last time my Red Wizard met her, she was aboard Kalma's ship. Below deck, actually, in the least flattering area...and she ended up swimming :).

As for the lack of "heretical Drow wizards", that cant be true XD!!

I don't have an essay but I have been intrigued for the last two years about Valiant. if you're asking if you are a good RPer I think its a silly question, because the answer is ooooof coooourse! As for asking the question is your character concept interesting on a personal level, I'd have to say yes on that as well. Even when he was one of the chief enforcers of justice at the FAI, he'd be the guy a not so famous at the time outlaw could have an interesting RP convo with. Valiant always had some interesting feedback you wouldn't think would come from one who beat up bad guys at the FAI all day long.

Not sure where his concept is going now but i like it. Its kind of what i thought he was the whole time. A man struggling with the seeming futility of bringing justice to a world so full of rat bastard killers who'd slit their mamma's throat for a silver piece. Is Valiant a troubled man susceptible to being turned completely to the darkside? Does he eventually succumb to nihilism? Does he give the middle finger to all sides and play them for a fool for his personal benefit and those who he cherishes (the lil man)? Or perhaps he takes up his sword and against the odds, does what he can in the name of justice for all? He's a bit of a mystery, an enigma and I like it.

That's it, hope it helps.

I would like people's opinions on Cecilia and my roleplay itself if possible~ : )

I've been playing the game for two... almost three months now, she is my first character and honestly this is the first time I have ever really RP'd to this extent. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself and would love to know what you think and what I can improve on.

Thank you in advance~

I'd keep your day job...

Lol that's so wrong, I renounce and reject myself. *coughs*

No, Cecilia is apart of the new wave of cool characters by cool players that's breathing more life into the server. Rping hours in a torture cell, who does that? Rping hours in a Temple to make the place come alive, who does that? Love the journal, love the RP, and I love her concept. Its in many ways the traditional D&D heroin concept of standing up to Evil with fortified resolve, but of course it's played with flavor and genuineness. So far i have only heard good things and it seems she is turning into a LG rockstar in IG lore.

Where to start? She can be both fun to be around and she can be the most dense tool in the shed. Typical paladin :) But I've always had great fun with her RP. She's at a delicate stage right now, though, so I'm anxiously waiting to see what will happen next. She's one of those characters who are fun to follow and whenever I take a look at the Scry to see who's online and I see her location hidden, I can't help but think: "Oh damn, what is she getting herself into now?" :D

If you ever plan on coming back 'home' it would be good to have a plan how to act in the mission of your allegiance. My biggest complaint towards Nawiel would be that she is what she is, but she's doing nothing to get others on board, or when she does it lands her in trouble due to poor execution.

Nawiel needs a plan. One that takes the setting into consideration. Assassin's Creed comes into mind .||,| hand gestures and that kind of stuff...

Thanks for the abundance of compliments, Sabel has some redeeming qualities I hear? Is she an evil, anti-hero "freedom fighter" willing to do vile things for the Greater Good? Not entirely sure. . . does she have a heart? Somewhat, but I could be wrong!
