DM Golem wrote:There is some commotion as a delegation from a Lolthite house, Qu'ellar Barrirahel of the city of Sschindykyn, arrives in Sshamath.

The rumours that circulate indicate that Qu'ellar Barrirahel professes a desire to acquire magical artifacts, and that they hint at great prowess at divinatory magic which could be deployed in return. Such is the word spread by the slaves they dispatch with messages to the local traders and, it is rumoured, to the Conclave.

Other rumours speak of a significant purchase of slave soldiers in the Bazaar and suggest that there might be more to Qu'ellar Barrirahel's visit than trade.

The house delegation acquires opulent lodgings in the city and, Zebeywae, Ilharess of Qu'ellar Barrirahel, is habitually seen "holding court" in the Spider's Kiss, surrounded by a numerous entourage, receiving local traders and spending lavishly.

Rarely do anything go unnoticed by Bregan D'aerthe in the city of Sshamath, so it isn't long before one of the powerful organisation's informant deliver word of strangers in the city - strangers with work. Not long after hearing the news, Phar leave the hall of Bregan D'aerthe to make his way into the city. Once there he is approached by another of Bregan D'aerthe's informant, who point him towards the Spider Kiss. With a soft chuckle, Phar makes his way there, muttering to himself.
  • "Funny how all the females never seem to grasp the true nature of the Spider's Kiss."
Arriving at the Spider's Kiss less than half an hour after he left the halls of Bregan D'aerthe, Phar asks one of Zebeywae's entourage to arrange a meeting, flashing the Bregan D'aerthe insigna in the process.

Ustvelve approaches the party and bows deeply, "I am Ustvelve, fine gem merchant and artifact hunter, if dos requires fine gems I would be happy to offer you some exquisite gems and diamonds. I am also interested in purchasing other rare and valuable gems."

Smiling widely he adds, "If dos requires a well established procurer of artifacts of a magical nature I would also offer my services there as well. My house have done much exploring and I have some skill in... shall we say getting what I am paid to.. ah... recover."

A new face can be seen in the Gloura's Wing. He sits by himself, cowl pulled barely above the eyes with a cup of liquid sitting in front of him, though he does not touch it. He sits there and watches, and listens to the drunken banter and the whispers around him. He listens close to the various gossip and notable individuals brought up in more than one tale, as well as taking note of arrivals visiting the Inn. As more patrons come in, he subtely hands more gold to the waitress to deliver to the bar keeper to keep the wine and liquid flowing through his time there.

Drunken lips often spill the truth.

Tedia Dev'lin ... Tedia?? is seen staggering through the streets of Sshamath, barely able to navigate the city, barely abel to remain on her own two feet.

She apparently wanders from one bar to the next, ordering -every- possible combination of drinks offered. After two or three sips of each drink she throws it at the closest non-drow and screams out in frustration. It is said she even went into the kitchen and tried to drink the grease and blood of foods being prepared for service ... once even the dishwater!

As much disgust as there is at her actions ... each time she offers enough coin to placate the inn keeper.

A tale circulate among the apprentice mages of the Mage School about a recent addition to the statue collection in one of the studies.
Apparently some sort of stoned canine covered in grime and ash has joined one of the stern marble wizards in a corner.

Whoever did it is untold but the story go that a grimy pan was later discovered in the dissection chamber.

Qilintha is seen around the streets of Sshamath again, her servants and guards not far behind her as they scatter to attend to their duties.

"You will return promptly. " Her eyes linger on one of the better dressed servants, his hands are blistered and scars that run down his neck to his torso can be openly seen through his loose embroidered shirt.

Hissing a Lolthian curse she looks towards her guards, her lip stiffening as a name seems to be hushed towards her.

Aw'va is seen following a female of Dev'lin closely, his determination to protect her evident.
Recent scars grace his face, while not in the female company, a desperation to remove them from himself openly available to speculation.

"I will serve them. My duty clear."
He would shine his boots furiously.
"I must never fail."

The songstress of House Tiren(Silith) was seen walking threw varralas passage last cycle singing songs of glory to the spider queen and House Tiren while her brother (caldor), can be seen walking with a big grin on his face carrying three heads of surfacers he caught in the wilds of the underdark. The song the bard sings can be heard by many and is very enchanting, the heads her brother carried were put on pikes and set into the ground on the edge of town.
