Well yes ? 32 is already seriously powerful imagine DC 42 fear AoE, permanently.

yea. except it doesnt invoke a fear response. it is -2 hit dmg save. if it were a "fear: effect, i would understand. its a good effect, but not OP. even at 42. consider that it is only available to a -2 cha/int race so it is unlikely bolstered by high cha and is not easy to max when you are one less skill point on every build.

there are alot of ways to avoid a save vs fear. unlimited points in intim/perf to the CL doesnt make it OP at all if it is not OP at 32.

Put that in the hands of a DC cleric warpriest and it can hurt. Cleric/Hierophant/OWD/Warpriest, that's a noticeable debuff you get.

what would be the casting level of that priest? how many feats are being used pre epic to just qual for classes. nothing left to increase DC like greater spell focuses or empower or anything else? true cleric owns this combo.

my build for that was C15(str,tyranny)/H6(SP1,2,3)/WP4/OWD5.

feats went prod,combat casting, practiced, iron will, SF-intim, extend, daylight adap, epics all wis. CL30 and DC 27+SL +1ench or swap two epic wis for GSF and ESF ench and get DC26/29 ench???

Why would you go daylight adaptation ? You can also go with law domain for free iron will. What's left is prodigy, combat casting, practiced, sf intimidate, extend : 5 feats. Take spell focus and then greater spell focus.

Full WIS, 32 base wis, prodigy, +4 WIS spell = +14 mod

10 (base) + 14 (wis mod) + 4 (epic caster bonus) + 2 (greater spell focus) + 3 (debuffs) + spell level = 33 + spell level

How do you beat that with a simple cleric ?

no orc god has law domain

and why go daylight adaption on a DC cleric? because mobs and other bad guys go invisible and untargetable without it. its the same reason you would get steadfast.. because when you really dont need something to happen it is guaranteed to happen.. why cus eff me thats why

I'm sure a Loviataran Orc is legit.

oh ok.. i see... we are promoting snowflakes and unicorns now.. next you'll say Sheela Peryroy is acceptable for orcs too.

What is the range of Inspire Fear? Is the save every round? If not, would leaving the AoE then re-entering cause a new Check?
