The senior priestess at the Temple of Lathander, Lynneth, sits in her room reading when a guard tells her of a mob that has formed outside the temple. She heads outside to see what all the fuss is about, the town folk have grown angry as one of the priest was convinced to raise an orc who later was accused of eating children which in turn started the mob.

After a lot of chaos and story changes no one could actually confirm or deny the face that any of it actually happened and the mob eventually dispersed after a bit more of chaos as someone set off a fire bomb from within the crowd, knocking a few guards, innocent bystanders and the priestess herself to the ground with minor injuries and severally damaging the temple's door.

The guards scan the crowd for the arsonist but again no one comes forward and the people start to disperse back into the streets, no sooner than that does a goblin run into the city having heard word of the orc incident wishing healing for his people as well. By this point however the priestess has already ordered the guards to get everyone in their homes and as expected the goblins raided the city.

The priestess along with several others that had formed watching the mob fend off the goblin raid. They search the city for any who had fallen and she is able to bring them back before it was too late. The wounds of the injured are tended to and as the city returns to a somewhat peaceful state, at least peaceful enough that the people have calmed and the guards continued their patrol are any stray goblins, she thanks the group and gives them a blessing as she returns to the temple which has closed for the remainder of the day as a few workers see to the damages. The priests of the temple go outside to continue their work with aiding the people as needed.

Last night, while Drem was on watch duty, at Friendly Arms Inn building site for Bentley Mirrorshade, Periam arrived running and followed by a hooded and cloaked human.
Periam was upset and kept yelling at human to leave.
He had only the time to tell Drem that the stranger had attacked his badger friend, Gnasher that both of them were sent to Myrkul's kingdom by the shady human.
Being away from his corpse was the best thing that could happen to Periam, since his murderer finally beheaded him after several attempts.
Though some gnomes and passers-by arrived to witness the murderer leaving the site, he managed to escape through the use of some kind of invisibility spell, taking Periam's head with him.
Hopefully both gnomes were raised and Periam recovered the wholeness of his person.

Here's the portrait of the murderer as described by eyewitnesses:

Hooded and cloaked in white, human sized figure. Some kind of wizard assasin.

The Gnomish Gatherin' offers a 3000 coins reward to whoever bring them the murderer, dead or alive.

Rumors spread of a young elven girl that is culling the orcs and lycans in the Wood of Sharpteeth. Those that have met her have been offered "Forest Blessings" and salves for healing. Proudly displaying a silver chain around her neck from which hangs a silver arrow with green fletching. She speaks only elven, but understands common...which leads people to think it's by choice...

Unusual, but perhaps not unfortunate, the bandit camp was found with more casualties than normal for it's members. The gruesome aftermath reveled several bodies mutilated or half eaten by some large animal, especially the hearts seemed to all be removed. Witnesses might mention a giant dire bear rampaging through the camp.

Rumors has it that Ivaris Alomane and Celia Lockheart were seen kissing outside the White Mask Theater and then were seen leaving to the East Gate District together.

People whisper about a black dressed, hooded man approaching the camp just outside of Baldur's Gate. He spoke briefly to those present and suddenly knelt down to let out a wolflike growl. He was then seen speaking to an equally black dressed and hooded woman, and someone mentioned the word "reunion." The two dark figures left the scene walking close together.

THose passing by the bandit encampment near the merchant camp smell the taint of copper on the air, and rotten meat waft across the wind. The large amount of carrion birds and scavengers are easily seen all the way from the trade way. The usual bandit activity has markedly diminished as the Fist double up patrols, women and children in the Gate start to speak of the phantom beast in the woods and keep their children indoors during the night hours for fear of being spirited away.

Many rumours fly but the ones that persist is that of marks on the bodies similar to that of a large bear as well as hair and other leavings. Curiously absent is the tracks of the bear or any tracks aside from the bandits that was obvioulsy present when the attack occured.

Once again it seems the Flaming Fist has further increased patrols in the docks, following a curious report about a crazed dock worker attacking strangers. The White tabbarded mercenaries move about the Docks in threes and fours eyes alert for potential trouble makers, even attempting to break up a fight in the blushing mermaid.

Regular tavern goers, sailors and dockers all bemoan the heavy handed treatment but there doesn't seem to be an end to the clampdown in sight.

Leonia Nightsong has been seen wandering to the docks with a long haired man wearing an eyepatch, her backpack heavy and her hood pulled far over her red swollen eyes. Those who go to look for her at the lighthouse find a note pinned with an arrow to the backdoor that is still marked by a large red stain and the smell of sweet wine.

"Went sailing.

A rugged up young man arrived at the gates of Baldur's Gate, collapsing of exhaustion right in front of the Fist guardsmen. After a fresh meal and some rest at the The Blade and Stars, he presented himself as Alistair Lioncourt, sole survivor of an expedition to the haunted mine in Cloakwood Forest. The locals and quite a few of the guardsmen surrounded him and listened to him telling his story with great interest... and horror.

Rumour has it that at the end a toast was done in memory of someone called Lucas.

Today, for the first time in three years, local businessman Maltz has left the his shop. The local legend has it that when Maltz will leave his shop, the Apocalypsis will begin. However, the "legend" could also have been started by his bitter wife who got sick of sitting at home alone.

Stories of a new hero start to circulate around Baldur's Gate and Beregost. Tales of the valor of Sir John Buckturner, Most Favored Paladin of Tyr, Hero of Waterdeep, Bane of Thay, Savior of Evermeet, Leader of the Siege start to spread among all those who care to listen to them.

Sir Jonas Rokranon scratches his head with a furrowed brow when he hears these new stories being spread about. As he distinctly remembers helping lead the siege himself alongside Meri, and has no memories of anyone named John Buckturner leading, nor can he think of any time a paladin of Tyr has ever saved all the elves of Evermeet, he assumes some kids are just having a good time and smiles to himself as he continues walking toward the temple of Torm.

"Bless those little ones."

[Meri nods to Jonas smiling as they continue on.]

'Bless the little ones indeed. They come up with such imaginative stories these days.'

Lately there's a rumour circulating about a white-clad warrior doing, what seems to be shady business at the old Siege camp near the Gnoll Fort.

Those few who had tried to pry information out of him has not been seen for days now.
