Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

I was dallying around the forums and saw this post.

First of all, I want to say that this community has enlightened me in many ways. I came into BG with the mindset that I would be torn apart in the first few days. I am very very very rusty with RP and my only experience with DnD, at the time, was a 2-3 hour session a few years ago. We did not continue due to losing our DM. Anyhow, serious and unforgiving is what I dove in with. I thought I was too late to the party. Additionally, I did not think I would like turn based. Granted, I did play FFXIV for awhile, but there were little actions in between the turns that obscured it.

Surprise, I ended up loving it! I met Nico (the Catman) in a survival game and he recommended the server. My character, Serene, is his charge and the dynamic reflects OOC as well. Me constantly: "Did I do that right?"

Y'all have been super understanding and patient with me over these past weeks. Fellow players, upper members. I am still learning the setting and what goes where, but I am happy to have the support of the community. Was drifting for awhile. Wish I found y'all sooner. Once of my best decisions was taking the leap and I can't express my gratitude enough.

Hey I'm Trashkeeper,

I mostly do roleplay on NWN1, though I'm also a young player in that, but NWN2 has been a fun little diversion with the different mechanics though similar concepts. I'm a bit of an unorthodox build fiend so I love building things that aren't exactly meta but are specialized in what they do. BGTSCC has been a very wonderful place to do this thus far, if not the extremely special concepts and flavors adding the spice that I don't often find in many RPG spaces! Beyond that, the roleplay and lovely community has been a wonderful boon, and I look forward to what kinds of stories I can get in on and tell alongside my fellow roleplayers.

Hi, I'm valis! Been roleplaying from quite some years (almost five - starting to feel old!), I didn't escape from the dnd mania of some years ago but I never really found it compelling, and feeling more attracted to things like pathfinder than 5e. Out of chance I started playing NW2, as after I finished Baldur's Gate 3 I still felt the itch to play something inside the Sword Coast. After a couple of google searches lo and behold, I found this server!

Hi everyone, I'm Chomper. First time ever playing nwn2 (Though have years of experience on various NWN RP servers). I like deep plots, political intrigue, hardcore paladins that smite the smallest of sinners, and any and all evil plots.

I play Noir and this is my first character on BG: TSCC thanks to the recommendation of a few friends I played with on NWN1. Coming from NWN1, I am seeing that 2 has a bit of a learning curve so at best I am quite new to the layout, UI and the slight variations in server structure but I am hoping that this becomes a position experience in meeting new people, formulating constructive RP and having a generally good time. In terms of Dungeons & Dragons, I have played a few PnP homebrewed campaigns along with DMing a little on my own, but I will not say that I am an expert or veteran in any manner. I enjoy creative writing and storytelling and seeing how mine and other's characters develop around the experiences brought on by the environment and social interactions.

I look forward to seeing how well NWN2 and BG: TSCC holds up to a constructive and enjoyable experience.
