A weapons shipment arrives at the Northern Outpost.
The merchant Vaelen, under the watchful eye of Sir Amos, oversees the unloading of a pack-pony. Naturally, the man does no physical labour himself.
Over half of the fighting men are issued enchanted weapons.
Vaelen, Mistress Blackrose and Sir Amos are then seen speaking for some time, and an observant fellow might spot coin changing hands.

Rumours from the Northern Order speak of traders and trade, builders and buildings. Not the easiest place to get to nor the safest. But security is undoubtedly a priority and many of the recent refugees have been empowered with weapons and provisions. This has been reflected by some strong posturing among the new citizens. One trader reported two young adults tried to steal some of the cargo. Chased away there was no rebuke from the respective families other than not to get caught.
There is a profit to be had they say in this remote outpost but traders are warned of the potential cost.

With the arrival of the shipment of weapons to the Northern Outpost the "
Blackrose Militia" has been outfitted to now actively defend and patrol the area. These area's include not only the
"Northern Tradeway" but
"Thundars Ride" and
"Boareskyr bridge"
Rumors have it that all the Militia in addition to there food, weapons, armor and shelter are also receiving a payment of gold each weak.
"Ser Amos" a knight of the Blackrose has taken command of the Militia and is currently training them with daily drills, sparing matches and forced marches.
Rumors have it that
"Amelia Blackrose" has proclaimed that criminal acts will not be tolerated and all those caught would be put to the Sword.
The
"Northern Outpost" is rumored to have a huge supply of wolf pelts and they are only adding more to there stores as time goes on.

At some point of the northern tradeway, a dead dwarf lies on the road, a symbol of Sune carved on his chest.

A patrol of the northern outpost would find the body and take it to Soubar where they would ask around for someone to identify the body.

While on a patrol from the "Northern Outpost" near "Boareskyr bridge" a confrontation would be witnessed between The "Zhentarim" and The "Ebon Blades." At first glance the numbers favored the "Zhentarim" but the odds changed in a matter of second then the fight was over. Words about a man called "Boris" were uttered as a white haired arcanist seething with rage began the conflict The bodies of the "Zhentarim" forces were taken to "Soubar" and rumors have it that they now reside in the dungeons of the "Ebon Blade Fortress". The condition of those taken and end result of it all is still unknown.

"Amelia Blackrose" leader of the
"Northern Outpost" is warning all those travelling near or on the
"Northern Trade way" to not travel alone. Dwarves as of late seem to be a favored target of these bandits leaving the mark of
"Sune" on the dead.

Evening of Uktar 22, 1355 DR
A brief but vicious combat took place near the Eastern bank of the Winding Water, in sight of Boareskyr Bridge.
Two Ebon Blade mercenaries exchanged heated words with a pair of Zhentarim agents and their companion, with only a stone's throw between both groups.
Accusations of broken accords and murder were not taken lightly, and before long both parties clashed in a contest of might and magic.
The bout was quick and brutal, and in the end the Zhentarim and their associate lay dead or dying upon the field.
Sergeant Tytos Lyonson and Morgan Blackrose of the Ebon Blade were seen dragging them towards Soubar.
A sharp-eyed observer would identify the captives as Saint, Thorn and Bob Thairo.
Mistress Amelia Blackrose of the Northern Outpost is said to have witnessed the encounter, though she chose not to become involved.

Word spreads around Soubar and the Northern Tradeway of conflict among the factions based around Soubar. On the back of this it is said 5 Soubar refugees slipped away in the night to be followed by 3 Northern Order refugees and a dog, all headed for parts unknown. Those left behind were informed the nomads were keen to find somewhere safer, whatever the risks of travel offered.

The merchant Vaelen, accompanied by Ser Amos and the newly recruited Matthias, arrives at the Northern Outpost.
Mr. Derringer is driving a horse-drawn cart, with both men at his flanks guarding the small caravan.

Men from the newly formed militia are commanded by Ser Amos to unload the cart, as a weary Vaelen looks on.
The shipment is composed of lumber, some of which seems to be missing.
Rumors around the outpost suggest that there was trouble on the way. Some of the stock was lost while crossing a river ford, and there was at least one goblin ambush. Derringer Mercantile is said to have taken a small loss on this deal as a result.

Marietta Starling's first task upon her release from captivity in the Ebon Blades dungeon was to dig a trench at the foot of the Boareskyr Bridge with the assistance of Thorn, the burly half-elf seen often in the north. The trench is festooned with wooden spikes angled towards the bridge. Travelers could easily pass around it on either side.

A small caravan prepares to leave Corm Orp. Employees of Derringer Mercantile can be seen loading the wagon, as Vaelen and dignitaries of House Blackrose oversee them. Red clay bricks appear to be the primary cargo.
About a day and a half later, the caravan arrives at the Northern Outpost. Rumors suggest that the trip was uneventful. Perhaps the efforts of House Blackrose's militia patrols have begun to bear fruit..
