To those who pay attention to their surroundings, and to those who are ever watchful, and to those whose network of spies sees most things, whispers of the Druids of Shadow abound. It's as if the trees themselves know of the pending storm to come.

Whatever will happen, as no one really knows the mind of the Shadow Master, it may change the face of the Druids of the Baldur's Gate area forever.

A quiet stillness now descends upon the Keepers... the calm before the storm.

Four figures sit at a table in the Blade and Stars, drinking and roaring with laughter. Like the beginning of a bad joke, they are a merchant, a wizard, a healer and duelist.

The duelist, a woman wearing leathers and a feathered hat with a rapier at her side, speaks up in melodramatic overtures: "Wah! Don't hang Deus! Don't hurt Abby!" she says, hammering the table with her near-empy tankard, "I want to speak to Toybox now! Or else I'll throw a tantrum and do something stupid with no warning and get myself killed!"

The healer, a woman wearing simple clothes, a red bandana and holding a quarterstaff, chips in with stuttering tones: "I t-t-t-took all three oaths, I'm s-s-so special now. I don't have any f-f-fun in my life. I w-w-w-w-wonder if they have bread for m-m-me. Nothing else...just b-b-bread."

All at the table fall back into hysterical fits of laughter. After a successful Thieves' Come-dressed-as-another-character party, the participants wake up later in strange parts of town with formidable hangovers.

It is rumored that a warlock, identified as the human Faberge was caught using Eldritch magic just south of Beregost. The human was caught after a short hide and seek campaign through the streets of Beregost. Strangely, the ridiculous, foolish human had not a single problem with openly confessing to his vile pacts and magic he so easy wields, as if unaware of the evil he spreads. Faberge has been brought to the Fist, where his captives await a trial.

Rumors tell of a Baldurian vessel having been attacked by sahaugin en route to Baldur's Gate from Waterdeep.

The Flaming Fist marines on board put up a stout resistance, but the ship went down into Umberlee's depths. Sir Justin Crownsilver is said to have been among those who went down with the ship.

Several witnesses claim to have seen a female hin a bright blue chain and blue hood *description rougly meets Midnight the Sunshine* storming of the "Blade and Stars" with a furious expression on her face.
Later on said hin was seen to whisper with Lady Alyth in the Elfsong, exchanging some bundle with some gold.

Others claim to have seen her walking up north with a huge backpack on her shoulders, noticing noone as it seemed.

A week or so ago, in Bereghost, a Tiefling that identifies herself as a paladin of Tyr was attacked and struck down by a man under the effect of some ghostly spell. He wielded two Kukri's, and said something about her offending the Rune. He was chased off before he could strike the killing blow, by a tall, bald man in plate armor. The bald man carried the tiefling to the Temple of Lathander. Some time later they both exited the temple, looking healthy, and headed out of town north.

OOC stuff removed.

A couple of merchants on the road heard a group of adventurers talking about an invisible man that said something bad to one of them. Seems the man threatened a young woman, but low and behold, his invisibility spell flickered and died while he stood in front of them. Seems he wasn't even covering his face when it happened. He got away, none of the merchants knows why, but they sure get a good laugh at the story.

((I don't want to give your name away, he who had egg on his face ;P, but could you send me a PM with a vague description that someone would have looking at your character with just his hood on. That way the story can be complete without metagaming. Be sure it is vague enough though, due to having a hood on, but no mask))
