A lone hooded female wearing a green elven cloak over hunting leathers approaches the gates of Doron Amar.

Slowly raising her hands in a sign of peace, she lowers her hood revealing silvery hair, dusky ashen skin and features that are a mixture of both elven and human ancestry.

Speaking in a peculiar and foreign elven creol, she asks to speak with a Cormiira or Faernsuora of The First of the Seldarine.

A powerful ritual was performed by several priests in Doron Amar. Others were invited to join in the prayer as well and many villagers came to add their voices to it. They formed a ring around a councillor, the Head, Alsarias Lythar. One stood out in the circle, a human priest among all the elves. Hands were joined together and words spoken aloud to drive away the evil which had affected the councillor and to grant him the ability to see again - as he had lost his sight some years ago at the hand of evil.

Divine magic surged forth, pulsating and then centered on Alsarias' eyes. None could see exactly how his eyes reformed but as the praying voices grew in strength, it was evident a god's touch - or several - was involved. Bright light then completely encompassed Alsarias and when it disspiated in a shower of rainbow coloured sparks, everyone gathered could see that the ritual had been successful. Loud cheers, laughter and many tears were shed our of joy at the mircale. The village came together to celebrate it, speaking of the blessings of the gods and power their divine servants, the clerics, hold.

The now familiar figure of a silver haired A'Tel'Quess maid with dusky ashen skin, glides across the bridge towards the Gates of Doron Amar

Raising her hands in the sign of peace, with a formal politeness she addresses the rangers who guard the gate, speaking in a distinct and foreign elven creol dialect.

"Rilae'ar'an requests audience with the Council of Doron Amar."

The young woman then politely waits.

The rangers would tell Ril that Councilor Eowiel had set out early, with a tent and camping gear. They are not sure when she intends to return, but would mention this is a mission of some sort if pressed.

Alsarias approaches the gate and nods to the Evereskan rangers before speaking with Rilae, "I will meet with you as the other councilors seem unavailable if that is acceptable to you." Dips his head to the silver haired maiden and waits for her reply.

Pale almond shaped eyes the color of a clear midwinter morning darken with flecks of deep violet as they fix rigidly on the approaching elf

Rilae'ar'an stares at Alsaris silently in a tearful accusation of betrayal.

Alyndra and her dragon companion Ros may be seen scouting the areas around Doron Amar. She is clearly not getting involved in any outlandish adventures. Even after her little adventure with Delane she prefers to stay close to home.

/// Till I am able to login to BGSTCC again, Alyndra will be just a npc more lurking around Doron Amar. Might take a while till it is fixed.

A short time laterr, she is seen leaving with furrowed brows and a determined stride.

Report of Knight Warrant Lea Regarding the Attempted Gnoll Incursion into Doron Amar:

The Commander, General Seth, and myself ventured to Doron Amar as the Commander had promised to help defend against the expected incursion into the forests surrounding Doron Amar. The Doron Amar defenders did an excellent job of positioning barricades for maximum defense creating well defined choke points. The defenders were clearly well prepared and trained, however, they were glad to see us and promptly went over the rules of engagement.

It wasn't long after our arrival that word came the gnolls where approaching in full battle formation. What surprised me the most was their strength of numbers and determination to penetrate our defenses. The ensuing battle lasted hours, with wave after wave collapsing into us at full speed. At one point the defenders got out in front of the barricades not realizing the gnolls where leading them into a trap. General Seth and I managed to get the elves to see the folly of their pursuit and returned to the safety of the barricades. Alas, by the end of the battle, there was little left of the barricades.

Many elves fell, but many more gnolls were struck down including two of their leaders. I've never experienced such carnage; only at the end when the flurry of the battle was over did I realize the extent of what was done. Bodies, both gnoll and elf, littered the battle space, 3 and 4 deep in some places. I could hardly get my footing for all the blood that ran this day.

Exhausted and mentally spent, we resolved to forge ahead and help the elves gather their dead, dispose of the gnolls by fire (to avoid them being used for undead) and return to Doron Amar. As exhausted as we were, we stayed to pay our respects to the fallen by standing watch over the dead while the elves rested. It was the least we could do.

Upon her many visits to Doron Amar, Talindra speaks openly about the war with the gnolls, infact she seems to attempt broaching the subject with any that will speak of it. She continues to pass along the same advise she gave to Eowiel.

"Act before being acted upon. Choose your battle ground, do not let the gnolls choose for you. Find advantageous ground along the gnoll's path to strike from. Bring every warrior, arcanist and archer available and have them use potions, wands and spells of mirror image, so that your few seem many. Fill the sky with hails of arrows and swarms of spells, have them rain down upon your enemy. The moment the gnolls recover and begin to form defensive formations, teleport away. Cover your tracks with explosive traps, so that any who dare investigate are scattered to the wind, along with any trace of your presence. Place illusionary encampments around the forest, make them seem idle, weak and exposed. Allow the gnolls to underestimate you. They will bring a smaller force to strike at your mock encampments, springing traps of mechanical and magical design as well as creating opportunities for ambush.

Deception and mobility are your ally in this battle. Make the few seem many, make the ready seem idle. Strike from the shadows, then evade. Set traps in the light, then evade. Make your enemy fear the depths of darkness as much as stepping into the light. When they are confused, make them chase phantoms. Eventually, they may even turn against their own commanders, believing them incompetent.

I continue to gather traps and seek those able to craft wands and potions. I will bring you any thing I can to aid your cause. If there is anything else I can do, please, do not hesitate to ask."

*After a full day's of meditation and study, a ranger of Doron Amar approaches Talindra with the sealed letter. Thanking the ranger, she accepts the letter, breaks the seal and beings reading. Moments later she begins packing her supplies and departs from Doron Amar, heading towards the Friendly Arms*

Rumors quietly circulate that a female drow dressed in white silk robes and bearing an elven blade was slain outside the gates to Doron Amar just after sunrise.

Councilor Alsarias Lythar and an unknown human female carried the drowess's blood stained body inside the village gates.

The body is to be burned as soon as her possessions are examined.
