This may be a fluke, but I was able to connect to the server without the Client Extender.

When I was growing up, my mother was a preschool teacher. We weren't the wealthiest family, but we got by. Even though the pay was awful, my mother enjoyed her job because she loved working with children.
Sometimes I would help out at her preschool, and this gave me a great insight into the human race as a whole. To simplify it, 95% of all the kids at this preschool were "builders." What I mean by "builders" is that during their playtime, they would go to the box of blocks, and build their castles. For being little kids, some of these block forts were quite impressive.
The other 5% were the "criers." These were the emotional and socially underdeveloped children. When they could not build a block castle as nice as Lana's, they would cry and demand her block castle. Lana, of course said "no" and the crier would knock down the precocious block structure. This didn't achieve the crier's goal, of course, but at least in the crier's underdeveloped mind they were equal.
Most criers would grow out of this stage. It's a simple part of growing up and becoming more mature. If you are upset that you cannot build something as nice as Lana, then you work hard, learn more, and put in the time to build something as nice or nicer.
It's sad to say that not all children learn this lesson, and they keep the same mindset until they are a teenager or adult. Our neighborhood script-kiddie is an example of this. Somewhere along the line, they wanted our block fort. The DM's likely told them "no" and rather than this script kiddie putting in the time and effort to build their own block fort, they try to knock down ours.
I'm sure you want my anger, script-kiddie, but you only have my pity.

I think the anti-ddos measures are probably almost as bad as the ddos. :\
I can see that there are 19 people still logged in, but the server won't let me connect - i'm guessing that my ip is currently being blocked...

Server is wonky as usual. Guess I should get ready to do something else for the evening as usual.

Today is the worst day on my end by far since this started. Once I connect I can stay online for just a few minutes before I lag out and can't connect for about 5-6 times the amount of time that I was able to connect in the first place.
I really don't understand the motives of a person who does this. It seems like a waste of time an effort that could be used towards doing something awesome. Obviously if someone has enough knowledge to attack a server like this, they have the knowledge to be doing something productive. Instead, what? Do they want a gold star for making it so a few hands full of people can't play a computer game? Whatever.
