On one of Laitae's regular visit days, she brings a lute and a long sword and hangs them where Thedran usually hangs them. As the children notice it, she calms them and says Thedran is fine and that he will come back as soon as he can.

Sitting quietly in the entry, Thedran spends several hours staring unmoving at the front door. His new charges finally sleeping quietly in the back of Mercy's, far from any possible escape routes. He has unknowingly brought a disaster into his home, and put at risk his right to be with those he loves. When the darkness had fully consumed the lands, he stands and moves to ensure that all the doors are properly secured.
The normally common dressed safe keeper of, Mercy's is still wearing his armor and sword as he moves about the orphanage. Walking down the rows of beds, he checks on each child. Adjusting a blanket here, and putting away and stray toys still on the floor. So it had come to the choice. . .would he decide to keep his home, his little ones and joy.
To the north he had failed, his inability to see the plans of his foes had left the people of Triel utterly exposed to the full force of the attack, and then later the betrayal. Now he had a choice, he could not undo what had been done. . but he could decide the fate of the two in his keeping.
Thedran returns to his chair by the door. . .and spends the night dozing, although he always keeps one ear open. Several times through the night his eyes pop open, and he glances around his home. . .. only to close them, and venture back into the half sleep of his watch.

Jade enters the Orphanage and shakes the rain out of her cloak before hanging it up neatly. Hearing the door open, Sister Anne turns and greets her with a smile, although Jade uncharacteristically does not return the gesture. She asks if Thedran is about, which Anne shakes her head at. Seeming a bit unnerved, Jade heads towards the kitchen and greets Sister Juna. Both sisters remain silent, having not seen Jade in such a mood before. Jade mentions the incident outside the Friendly Arm Inn and that numerous threats that were levied Thedran's way. She warns that a Half-Orc even threatened to "Eat Thedran and everyone in that Orphanage". Jade reassures the Sisters that no harm will come to the children before quietly leaving. Stepping outside, she finds the Man at Arms on duty and gives the same warning.

Brother Ameris visits the Orphanage to speak with the sisters there. He asks for details of the daily and bedtime routine over the last few days and for the last time the two children from Triel were seen. He is careful to imply no wrongdoing on the part of the sisters, instead merely seeking information to piece together what might have happened.

Over the last few days, Thedran has spent only a few hours a day at Mercy's. He stops in as the sun sets to check on things, and ask if the children have returned. On the third day he stopped for two short hours to sleep. . .before staggering out of the chair and back to his endless search for the two missing children.

A man wearing the golden cloak of Lathander stops and greets the guard at The Radiant Heart compound, he briefly introduces himself as Koryeneer to the guard and asks if he give a letter to the head of Mercy's Orphanage. He instructs that the message does not contain anything of secrecy and that it simply asks that the orphanage give him a place and time to donate 100,000 gold for the cause of the orphans. He also leaves a bag of toys for the orphans to have and play with.
// OOC If I am not allowed to post here just delete this, I do however really have 100k gold to give to the orphanage for RP purposes. A DM's assistance for this would be appreciated.

Upon receiving the mystery donation, Thedran promptly takes it to The Church of Helm for inspection, only after ensuring there are not magics or substances on either the coin or toys does he let Sister Juna have them used within The Orphanage. This common practice is well known within Mercy's, to ensure the safety of the children.

Stoping by Rose is once again seen going to the orphanage, this time she wears a gray dress with a gray rag to hold back her short hair. She also seams very thin as if she hasnt been eating. She stops at the door and takes a deep breath before patting herself off and entering.
Inside Rose smiles to the children and apologizes for being away for a while, she heads into the kitchen and begin to make dinner for all inside. As the children eat she also makes 4 blueberry pies and sets them up to cool.
Taking them to the room she gives each a kiss on the head and sees them off to bed. She informs the sisters of the orphanage that she can not stay tonight but she will be returning, turning out the door she heads to Triel.

The Blonde man stands looking at the door to the Orphanage. Absently rubbing his neck, he watches without making a sound. Looks of sadness begin to fester on his normally warm face.
Absently walking to the door. He stretches out his hand to knock, pauses, and then pulls back.
Tilting his head from side to side he lets out a awkward cry before banging on the door louder then he expected. Startled he quickly turns away and leaves without looking back. Headed towards the Friendly Arm Inn. He tries to keep quite and distant from those he passes on the road.

Rose can be found jumping from the Orphanage to the church of Ilmater for the past weeks. . .
In the Orphanage she often cooks and cleans taking care to see the children have clean outfits, food to eat, and toys to play with. On heavy nights she will send the kids to bed lay down in a chair and fall fast asleep

One of the orphans, a little girl named Lisa, was snatched while out just beyond the gates of the Radiant Heart compound. A sudden attack by undead near overwhelmed Thedran Rock and the Radiant Heart man-at-arms and Mercy's protector, Thedran Rock, and during the confusion the child was spirited away by magic.
Thedran Rock was seen heading south in pursuit of the child. He did not return, but Lisa was delivered back to the Orphanage by Sister Katarina and Brothers Gaervin and Ameris of the Radiant Heart.

Brother Ameris of the Radiant Heart can be seen, fully armed and armoured, standing watch either by the gate of the Radiant Heart compound or the doors to the orphanage itself. He remains outside and is not seen to enter the orphanage.
He greets any children who leave the orphanage with a smile, although his manner with the children is awkward. He speaks words of reassurance, indicating to them that all is well and they are safe. He sternly warns them, however, to stay within his sight and tells the men at arms that no children are to be allowed to leave the compound without his express permission.
He does however relax his watch to climb to the top of the Chapterhouse to pray and bless his arms and armour periodically, also speaking softly as he casts blessings.
